We stayed in the two bedroom family suite, so I can't speak to what the regular rooms are like, but the suite was beautiful and spacious! Everything was clean and well maintained. A nice clean motel with a nice simple breakfast and a heated pool. The second year I have stayed and it was again a pleasant experience. This motel is out of the way with no traffic or road noise, high above Lake Sunapee.

Stayed for a couple of nights in July, and had a pleasant time. As others have noted, most of the rooms do not have A/C; for us not an issue as the evenings were pleasantly cool. I recently came across this place when searching for a stop for the evening. The King suite room we rented for one night was comfortable and reasonably appointed with a soft bed, mini kitchenette and small flat screen tv. going to one of the roadside motels that dotted America prior to the chain onslaught. First know what you are getting- a very clean 1950's notes. We probably had the best room in the place for viewing Mt. Sunapee. After a day of skiing, it was a nice quiet place to relax. Continental breakfast was convenient and tasty. We will return. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful (we had to call fro directions).

Quiet convenient accommodations near Sunapee skiing and water sports! Clean, private and comfortable. Comfortable beds. Great price and the owner/operator, who is a very nice man, got us lift tickets for 36$ each-about half price, so we stayed a few extra nights. (Anyone who skis/rides knows the lift tickets can be very expensive. I believe they're 90$ at killington)

I just read the review from inky2001. She tried to stay there in sept.20013. She is spot on about the management there.
