We stayed in "The Whittier" at the Wakefield Inn on Friday night, 11/14. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. It was like being in a museum. We like perusing through the halls looking at the vintage clothes, period artifacts and old pictures on the walls. The bed in our room was very comfortable and... More

We stayed at the B&B and had dinner and breakfast there as well. We were in the smallest of their rooms, and it totally met our needs, with a very comfy bed. The restaurant has a great environment and we really enjoyed our meals. It is family run, and they have created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We would stay... More

Excellent dinner with friends. Great service, good cocktails, well executed food with nice menu choices. Food was cooked to perfection, sweet potato appetizer was great a must try! Prices were reasonable. Staff was pleasant and efficient.

We had heard from locals how good this was. We so much enjoyed the friendly and accommodating staff. Not a quick meal, but why hurry? The food was very good, especially the sweet potato cups with chorizo. Dessert is a must. Great conversation music on Sunday evenings. Can't wait to return.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Can we borrow your tag line of "comfortably casual dining" as you have truly captured exactly what we have been trying to achieve through our first 16 months in business. Feedback is priceless and we truly appreciate it. More

I was given a gift certificate when I retired to spend a night at the Wakefield Inn. My husband and I were very excited to go there and be able to go to Wolfeboro and spend the evening. We checked in and took our bags to the room and left. When we got back that night it was late and... More

My entire group of friends stayed here for our friends wedding weekend. We were busy so unfortunately didn't get to enjoy the inn as much as I would like. All of the rooms are quaint and charming. Beautiful beds, quilts and decorations. There is one room on the first floor kind of close to the dining room I wouldn't recommend... More

My wife and I were in the area for a couple days and needed a place to stay. We read the reviews of this B&B and gave it a try. It was great! The room was clean and quiet. The restaurant was outstanding. Good food, good prices, excellent service. The owners and staff went out of their way to make... More

Gotta love Trip Advisor and its reviews. In this instance, it matched or exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Sisson room which was a great size with a really great bathroom. Couldn't figure out how to get the heat working in the bathroom, but guess that its just a control panel that needed some attention. Great bathroom shampoos etc.... More

The Inn is situated in a very quiet, pretty area. Our room, the Frost Room, was a good size with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was rather small but we managed with it. The owners were very helpful and the real winner here was the food. They do dinner on four nights of the week and we stayed on... More
