I ate lunch here years ago and I know people who have stayed here or had their wedding here, so we decided to do a last minute quick one night get-a-way and were glad we did. We called to see what kind of deals were available and liked what we heard. The property is located on top of a hill... More

We stayed for 3 nights last August, lovely views and great location if you want peace and quiet. Ensure you get rooms in the new part as we were situated in the old building which was quite dated. Decent facilities with nice outdoor and indoor pools.

First, the setting of this resort is beautiful. What a vista to the NH Lakes Region. My family stayed in the lodge inn (older building), but it was great. The room was clean and we had a full suite with kitchen. The kitchen had everything we needed, including dish soap and a fresh sponge for cleaning dishes. The building is... More

My husband and I had our monthly date night here. We had a newly built room with a hot tub. The bed was comfortable and the pillows we wonderful. The room needed a trash can but it was other wise very clean and we'll priced. The view was beautiful and the pools were fun. Loved the little water slide and... More

Do NOT try to get here using your GPS.Call the place for directions. GPS takes you to some ungodly dirt washed out roads~almost ruined our car ...finally found the place by luck, and the guy at the desk said ..Oh ya, that happens to a lot of people. PLEASE don't let it happen to you. The place is totally awesome... More

So many disappointments. We had a second story room with no rooms above us --however we were unable to sleep throughout the first evening as it sounded like furniture was being moved until 2 am. When it started the second night we called to be told initially there were no rooms being rented above us but several foreign exchange students... More

I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us. Generally the main inn rooms are some of my favorite suites on the property. Many guests enjoy the charm of the original inn and I believe they represent one of the best values at the resort. I discussed your experience with the exchange students living on the... More

Pros: Pool - AMAZING. Kids and adults loved the pools. The indoor pool is especially well done. Trails - There are a few trails to run/hike that are very pretty. Cons: Remote - Took us an extra 20 minutes to go anywhere to do anything else. GPS systems aren't terribly accurate on the mountain, so that can add another 30... More

Steele Hill is one of those places you can go and just relax. It's family owned and operated. I was told the family have their homes on property. We stayed in the older East side of the resort. We had a 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom unit on the lower level. It is the first place we've stayed where the people... More

I recently stayed with 5 girlsfriends at the Steele Hill Resort in Sanbornton for Girls' Weekend, and we had a fabulous time. This is the second year in a row that we celebrated Girls' Weekend at this resort and look forward to many more. The location and view from the resort is gorgeous, and it's a short distance from the... More

Lovely resort for the whole family! We had a wonderful time. The rooms were clean and kitchen well-stocked, the pools and grounds were beautiful. The restaurant was delicious and the staff always nice and available. Only things to note: no breakfast offerings so you should bring your own breakfast to prepare in the kitchens, and the wifi was not great... More
