We stayed in the king box stall in the barn. The other 2 stalls weren't occupied so we had the barn to ourselves. There aren't any modifications to the barn, there are curtains for privacy. If you are a light sleeper this probably isn't the place for you, the sounds carry and the doors are noisy so if there are... More

we stayed here for 3 nights during our 3 week tour of new england. the location is lovely, out in the countryside, but near enough to shops, places to eat etc. the view over the garden and beautiful woods was lovely as we ate breakfast each day. jack and eva were good hosts, friendly and helpful with suggestions of where... This is the best value in the area. We stayed in the bunk room portion, which is considered to be their "hostel accommodations." the bunk rooms really are converted stable stalls, complete with a sliding door with bars as the door to your room. hence, you don't really have complete privacy. no A/C but they did turn the dehumidifier on... More
