My parents, daughter (3 year old) and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Arbor Inn. Julie and Dennis are wonderful hosts, breakfast each morning was a special treat, and most importantly, we felt truly comfortable during our stay. The location is very much desirable, within a few miles of the Ocean and many other attractions/places to visit. I would... More

My husband and I found this place when we were looking for somewhere to stay near Portsmouth and Kittery. What a find! The house is gorgeous, Julie and Dennis are great hosts, and Julie made a delicious feast for breakfast both mornings we were there. Eggs, fruit, muffins, yogurt and sausages, all locally sourced wonderful. We stayed in The Ledges... More

Julie and Dennis are wonderful hosts and run a fabulous B&B. We arrived, hot & hassled, after a stressful drive from Boston - Julie greeted us with the offer of tea (or a beer) & freshly made cake, just what was needed. Our room was lovely, clean, comfortable and with all facilities. Julie's breakfasts are amazing, three courses of different... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of a brief stay at the Arbor Inn last week and we enjoyed every bit of it (except the part when I slipped on a rock at a nearby beach and smashed my knee!). We stayed in the Country room which was small but very comfortable. Julie and Dennis were wonderful hosts and... More

We stayed 5 nights by Julie and Dennis. We had two rooms with five people (3 adults & 2 children). The beds were comfortable and the rooms very clean. Julie prepared some of the best breakfast meals we have ever eaten. She was also very accommodating to the kids' tastes. The location was great - just a 15 minute walk... More

We have stayed at a number of B & Bs over the years and can honestly say that our stay at the Arbor Inn was the best ever. It was quiet, yet centrally located, very charming and meticulous. The breakfasts were outstanding, accommodating our gluten-intolerance. The hosts were very friendly and available, yet very respectful of our privacy. They were... More

We stopped by Arbor Inn one afternoon this past June without a reservation, and Julie and Dennis very kindly accommodated us, even though it is high season. We stayed in the Sagamore Suite downstairs, and it was very comfortable. The bathroom is large, and the bedroom has a sitting area with a couch. The house is serene, inviting, light and... More

When planning a trip to New Hampshire and Maine I literally stumbled across Arbor Inn and thought it would be an easy drive for tired Brits - only an hour from Logan Airport - and would do for a first night to get acclimatised. I was very wary when making the booking as all reviews were years old and it... More

The innkeeper, Julie, is exceptional as an innkeeper. She and her husband were a wealth of knowledge about the local area. Her breakfasts were homemade & delicious. The inn was very clean and charming and only a short distance to the beach. The location is central to head into Portsmouth, to Maine or down the coast to Hampton Beach, Salisbury,... More
