The Rosewood Inn was a great bargain compared to the chain hotels! Our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The receptionist was very pleasant and hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed. Our son used the skate park out back so it was a perfect location. Perfect location to visit Kittery and Portsmouth.

My wife and I just traveled to Rye, NH so that I could participate in nearby Duathlon race. After arriving in town and noticing that the Rosewood Inn was relatively close the start/finish line, we went inside to check it out. The Inn-keeper voluntarily showed us one of the rooms and we were pleasantly surprised to see how nice it... More

I stayed here for 2 months while working on assignment. This hotel had a 'kitchen' that included a tiny fridge and microwave. The windows would not close, (in winter of Feb. 2015 storms of the century), and they were single panes, fogged all the time, icicles literally 6 inched thick that occluded the full picture window, and lots of mold... This couple stayed with us for 9 weeks, so it is curios they stayed so long with no complaints and that they did not post their concerns until more than a month after their departure. Their claims are unfounded and very upsetting. We make every effort to make sure our customers receive the best service, comfort and value available here... More

Clean and tidy spacious rooms, friendly family checked us in...couldn't have been happier. For 59.99 I don't expect much more than clean - but we got more!, huge room, huge tcv, spic and span bathroom with nice shampoo and soap etc...smell of the room could have been fresher and there could have been an extra towel so we could give... Its a nicely arranged complex, which seems to be good maintained. The staff is very friendly, the room spacious and clean. Internet access with high speed and enough capacity. The kitchenette is nothing more than an kitchen sink, combined with fridge, a microwave and a coffee machine. The window A/C has not enough power to cool down the room properly... More

The Rose Inn at Rye makes a great first impression: well-maintained grounds, lush flowers, tidy exterior. But, the attention to detail ends there. The first room we were assigned hadn't yet been cleaned, and the second room smelled of stale cigarette smoke, was unevenly cleaned (hair in the tub, obvious dust on parts of the furniture), and the sheets on... The room itself was beautiful! Nice space and new carpeting. The bed was comfortable. Perfect for a night away. It was a little pricey but it did have a kitchenette. If the bathroom had a whilrpool tub it would've been perfect for our romantic night away. The only suggestion I had as we checked out was that the cleaning personnel... More

This is a good stop over motel but not fancy. We stayed here two Saturday's in a row as a midpoint while traveling. The rooms are clean and roomy. However, both rooms had a stuffy smell and the window air conditioners are noisy. There is road noise as well but the air conditioner worked to drown it out. It is... More

We stayed at The Rosewood Inn at Rye last Saturday night, June 21st. Check in was simple. Gil who was the desk person was very nice. We stayed in room #12. when we walked in the door there was a funny odor, apparently that had just recently replaced the carpet. We tried to open the windows , but could not.... More

This is a well maintained property. I was struck immediately on arrival by how tidy the landscaping is. The office was pleasant with light, inoffensive music, and warm staff. Our room is lovely, clean, and nicely appointed. It has windows on both sides for a cross breeze and is roomy, with two double beds. It was a bit stuffy when... More
