Best place to stay on the coast. Always relaxing, quiet, and scenic. The owner is friendly and makes you feel so welcomed. Nice yard if you have children and they need room to play. We have stayed in many different cottages there and they are all clean and well stocked. The kitchen has all the amenities of home or bring... More

We had a two-day getaway and stayed in the studio apartment above cottage #1. We didn't need to hit the beaches because we were so content with our spectacular ocean view from the deck: Worth the price of admission all by itself!

My Husband and I stayed 2 nights this past weekend and certainly wish we could have stayed longer. It is a great place that was extremely clean and absolutely adorable. The accommodations were great with a kitchen, living space, eating area, bed and bathroom. The outdoor deck was charming and even came with a grill if we wanted to use... More

We started staying here 3 years ago and now it is our new favorite place to vacation! The cabins are cozy and clean . The owners are friendly and helpful. The views are lovely and it is a great place for bike riding, walking and running. It is set back from road and is quiet and peaceful. There are decks... More

My husband and I have been staying here for about 6 years. The cottage is clean, comfortable and very quiet. Nice deck to sit, with a grill. Close to the beach. We love it, and plan to return next year.

My husband and I have been coming to Hoyt's since our honeymoon 25 years ago. Whether for a long weekend or a full week in summer, we've found a clean cottage, convenient access to the beach, great restaurants in walking, biking or driving distance and warm hospitality.

Owners were fantastic. Very hospitable. Helped us in every way. Right across the street from the ocean. We sat on our screened in porch and just watched the ocean all evening. Could not have enjoyed it more. Clean and comfortable

We've been staying at Hoyt's for quick off-season getaways for more than a decade. The cottages are neat, and the owners very accommodating. They always find just the right cottage for our family of 4 (#9 and #6 are our favorites). The cottages have full kitchens so we can eat some meals in to save money. What keeps us coming... More

The first time I stayed at Hoyt's Lodges was about 15 years ago when I was in town for a family wedding. This year I was lucky enough to secure a cottage for my husband and I on a recent trip to Rye. We love staying at Hoyt's! The cottages are adorable (I really want the fridge from ours, but... More

On the recommendation of a friend I decided to rent here for a week. Every morning I crossed the street and had my tea sitting on a rock looking out at the ocean. My cottage was cozy, quiet and set back from the road. It is so close to Portsmouth, an excellent place to bicycle and a half mile to... More
