This place is a dump. Plain and Simple. It's not taken care of. The rooms and grounds are unkempt. The pool is gross. Outside furniture is old, broken and unsafe. Management staff is drunk by 5pm and still on the job. Breakfast is hardly ever out in time (posted breakfast hours are 7am-9am). Complete waste of good money. The owners... More

It's a good value for money. They have nice ground right outside your room, where you can soak up some sun and barbecue. Nestled away from the hustle of the city, it offers a tranquil environment. Tip: Monday night rates are better than the weekend.

We opened the door to the room which we had reserved and it was over 90 degrees in the room in November. We had to open windows and doors immediately. Room was outdated and filthy. The bugs in the bed drove us out when we noticed a few of then in the morning. The location was great but the owners... More

We arrived at 3:15pm. Went to the room and noticed an odor, not a pleasant one. Then when I went to use the bathroom, I noticed there were no towels or soap. I went back to the desk where I had to dial a telephone number & leave a message for the manager. Never got a response or towels delivered.... More

After driving 10 hours from Virginia, we found this motel at the end of the day. We only stay in pet friendly hotels. After reading the many negative reviews about this property, I was hesitant to say here, but was too tired to keep driving. Our room was clean, the property grounds are lovely and the manager, Dave was quite... More

After almost four weeks travelling in New England we booked the Anchorage Inn of Rochester by one of the bookingsites (we expected it to be busy). Wrong. Although the room was clean, that was about it. The swimmingpool was really dirty, the breakfast very poor, the power of the juice dispenser was not on, It wouldn't have been such a... More

Hairs in bathtub, hairs on sink, hairs in bed, used bar of soap still in tub, food on floor. We had booked a room with two queen beds, we were given a room with two doubles, after complaining our room was changed. The room was very dirty!

We spent a night of the 22nd of June 2013 in this hotel and found it quite disappointing. The rooms were cracker boxes. VERY TINY.. With two and dresser/ tv stand room very full and made it kind of tough to get around. Bathroom was tiny too. It was very clean though. A free continental breakfast was advertised beginning at...
