I attended a company retreat/conference at the Inn, and was very impressed with the location, the beautiful main building, and the excellent restaurant! As a graduate of culinary school, the presentation and preparation of the meals exceeded even my expectations. the prices are more than reasonable, and the bartender was superb. One of the best getaways that I have ever... More

I found this place after my reservations at a local bed and breakfast fell thru. I'm really glad things happened the way they did. My only complaint is that I was expecting more out of the cabin from looking at the photo on line. I thought it was going to be a beautiful decked out cabin. Instead it was all... More

This Inn is very quaint and everyone on staff is very nice, and attentive to guest needs. My friend and I had excellent service our whole stay no matter where we went in the Inn. We went to the front desk and asked about the beach that we were told about upon check-in, and we were given instructions on how... More

Where do I start? I wanted to like this inn. I was hoping we would find a nice hidden little gem tucked away in a quiet, non-touristy area of New Hampshire. After reading the mixed reviews on TripAdvisor I knew the inn had a 50-50 chance of meeting that expectation. The inn is situated on a rather unremarkable piece of... More

We visited the inn on our recent trip to NH from the UK. We noticed the sign or the inn from the main highway and were keen to find it. Its location is superb and the building is fascinating. Fir music lovers, there's even a Steinway baby grand. The service we received was friendly and helpful but sadly the food... More

The Woodbound Inn was a mixed bag of experiences. We were in the Edgewood section which is separate from the main building. The fixtures, sheets, towels, and bedspreads are REALLY tired and need to be replaced (probably the mattresses too). Can't remember the last time I saw a TV that wasn't a flat screen. The room was warm but only... More

This is a cozy retreat from the pace of life. We used Woodbound as a base camp for hunting antiques, visiting covered bridges, and exploring the charming local communities nearby. Clean and quiet. Accommodating staff (especially Bob!). A great visit.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a very lovely staff and then off to our room which was on the third (top) floor which if you a senior is not so easy to navigate. I would recommend that if you have any problems climbing stairs that you ask for a room outside of the main building which are also nicer... More

When you first walk in to the front you get a nice warm cabin feel and it's a newer looking hotel but if you're not in that part of the hotel I wish you luck. Our room was disgusting, we were in the older section of the hotel. The walls and carpets had stains, it was extremely musty smelling and... More

For $180.00 per night I don't expect to be treated like a princess but I do expect much more than I got The hallway: probably hasn't been cleaned or vacuumed in a very long time The tv: not only is it 20 years old the picture was green and I mean really green and we only got about 15 channels...
