What haven't they thought of here, dvd library, books, bose sound system, cookies, complimentary wine, weather reports, bikes to use, wonderful. This was our second stay at The Governor's house.....we like to stay in Portsmouth on our way up to Maine. After discovering this lovely B and B in May....we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Special touches...and immaculate describes this establishment. more

We stayed at the lovely Governer's House for 2 evenings. Everything was great, comfortable yet elegant.
