Checked in and told we were upgraded without charge! Wanted us to have a more comfortable stay because there were 3 of us and there was a bigger room available. Very clean, super friendly staff, and very we'll maintained property close to everything. Will definitely stay here next time.

The staff were very cheery and welcoming. We had a pleasant stay with no issues whatsoever. We had a room in the front and could park our car conveniently outside. (Some rooms are beneath with access at the back as the ground is sloping and another section is deeper into the property behind reception Our room was typical motel style... More

We were recommended this motel by the chamber of commerce and were given a special rate. On check in I think we were given the worst room. It was in a unit that needed updating close to the road . I didnt realise till breakfast that theres an area at the back thats more modern and would have been quieter.... More

We stayed here last year and 2 years ago. It's our preferred place for visits to relatives in the area. We'd reiterate the reviews below - great beds, rooms, buffet breakfast and staff, and a super location for travellers. Since we were here last the lobby and breakfast room have been redecorated. It's now in a sort of posh New... More

There is no getting around the fact that this is a motel, but it is clean, comfortable, just off I-95 and near downtown/historic Portsmouth. I didn't hear the traffic. The usual amenities plus pool. An effort is made with the buffet/continental breakfast. Polite staff. I've stayed there twice (overnight only) and will do so again.

We stayed here for one night on our way from New York to Maine. We could have stayed longer. The property is very well situated next to the highways and the downtown historic district, it is very clean, has nice decorative accents, great king size beds, soft bedding and really clean rooms. It is a great value, certainly much better than... More

The staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is just 15 minutes walking distance from downtown Portsmouth and very convenient to several beaches. It is also convenient to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard if you have business or family there. Some rooms have a kitchen for those long termers like myself who prefer to... More

We spent two days in Portsmouth at the Inn. Because of weather, we passed up Bar Harbour and happened upon the Inn. We were warmly greeted and given tips by the gentleman at the desk. We would not have known downtown was walking distance, nor would we have know the history if it hadn't been for the front desk person.... More
