Friends took us here for a Friday night meal before a skiing weekend. Our meals started with chicken wings and french onion soup. Entrees included fresh bang bang chicken ( lettuce wraps ), savory steak tips and Bird of a Feather ( seared duck breast dish ). Food was excellent; service was fine, and portions were big. I definitely recommend... More

This inn is everything you could want on a winter vacation to the Granite state. Beautifully decorated with cozy common areas to play chess or read in front of a fire. Comfy couches and quiet nooks distributed through the inn if you need to just relax outside your room while your toddler naps. But not so fancy that you can't... More

What a find. Taking full advantage of very old building, the management here does everything right. In addition to everything one would expect, they pay attention to customer benefits. Helpful, engaged front desk, special (free) hot-prepared breakfast option in addition to the typical continental offerings, large rooms with comfortable beds, ice cubes in the tray in the refrigerator, and an... My experience at the Common Man Inn & Spa was wonderful. I was able to grab the last room available which was the pet friendly room! I didn't have a pet and really wanted to "get away". Check-in was fast and we went right to our room. The front desk called immediately after to make sure everything was ok. I... More

I was at the Common Man for a business related retreat and decided to have my husband and dogs join me on my final night. Not only was the room spacious, very well decorated and filled with amenities but they totally welcomed my dogs! A lot of places say they are pet friendly but the CM means it. Pet amenities... More

I'm grateful to live so close to the Common Man Inn & Spa- World Class experience at 'commonly affordable' prices. Meagan is an incredibly talented massage therapist- I highly recommend requesting her. She's welcoming, friendly, passionate and just an all around wonderful person. You will leave there relaxed and rejuvenated- by far the best $100 I have ever spent. Do... More

The Inn is tastefully decorated, warm and cozy with better than average size rooms. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. Foster's restaurant offers varied menu - food was delicious with thoughtful presentation and loved the multi-level seating arrangements. Indulged in a massage at the spa. Ahhhhh.......

We stayed at this fabulous, quirky hotel on the first night of our recent holiday. Our original flight, for a day earlier, had been cancelled and because everything had to be done so quickly,we had no accommodation booked. We started looking for a place to stay when we began to feel sleepy and were directed to this place after making... More

Excellent staff, comfortable rooms, close to Plymouth State College and White Mountains. Reasonably priced. Interesting decor. A little hard to navigate all the hallways, nooks and spaces for rooms. Continental breakfast left a little to be desired but otherwise would stay there again.
