Fantastic stay again at Tall Timber Lodge. The fishing with Jon Howe was lights out awesome and the service, setting, food, rooms and overall hospitality was once again top notch. This is my third stay and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the CT Lakes region..good people, great location...great stay...Everytime!

Our trip was amazing, so peaceful, especially with no phone or internet, not missed at all :-) We immediately rebooked and were lucky enough to get Anglers Cove for next year. Though the cabin we had this year was wonderful as well, looking forward to next year. See you then

We've been traveling to Tall Timber since the early '90's- first with our immediate family, then with our extended family, and this most recent trip with our dear friends. All have fallen in love with Tall Timber. We've always felt that Tall Timber was a special place--the haunting call of the loons at dawn and dusk, the hemlock scented air,... More

We love Tall Timber. It's a great place, the people who run it are so pleasant and accomodating. The cabins are always immaculate. My family and I have been vacationing in Pittburgs for over twenty years and Tall Timber is, by far, the best place we've stayed. This time, I got a pedicure at Eden Day Spa and it was... More

We've been going to Tall Timber Lodge several times a year for over ten years. The trout fishing throughout the area could be the best in New England, but Tall Timber is definitely the best place to stay. They have a variety of accommodations and a great restaurant on site. TT has managed to provide all the creature comforts yet... More

We stayed at Tall Timber over Memorial Day weekend with our two children ages 16 & 11. They both loved it & cannot stop talking about it! We had a cabin (Gramps) on the lake & it was very quaint & quiet. The highlight of the weekend were the 7 moose sightings, the reason we came in the first place.... More

Family run, great location, awesome food, they make sure their customers are well taken care. This is a great place for a vacation. Great fishing guides and fishing. Ask for John.

Tall Timbers and Back Lake are everything we could have hoped for a couple great days of fishing. My dad, brother and I each caught Rainbow and Brook trout in the double digits over just two days. The cabin we stayed in was comfortable and clean. The kitchen and bathroom made it easy to forget we were in a fishing... More

Tall Timber is an honest-to-goodness Northwoods lodge. The lodge is located on Back Lake, a prisitine little water that is heavily stocked with trout by NH Fish and Game. They pride themselves on a relaxed, accomodating atmosphere. Cabins and rooms are meticulosly clean and well maintained. The lodge is heavily sprinkled with Northwoods decor, including fish, moose and bears...Everything is... More
