We stayed 2 nights with our young children and really enjoyed the atmosphere. I liked the time warp sensation :-) We had a large, simple room above the breakfast area. The made to order waffles were delicious and the coffee, bagels and yogurt plentiful. We stayed to be close to other events we attended in the area but would not... More

This early 1920's Inn was such a wonderful place for a wedding. The Inn has one foot in the 1920's with the decor and some of the fixtures but the options for activities passes expectations. The hospitality and friendliness of the owners are second to none. The old house/inn/additions make this a very fun place to be. You would never... More

Perfection is the only way to describe this years Memorial Day weekend. Myself, boyfriend, and four friends ventured North to this wonderful Bed & Breakfast and couldn't have had a better time. Though we only spent one full day on the property we were able to do so much. Rick pulled out the Kayaks which we all spent most of... More

We were dismayed at the overall "feel" of this hotel/Inn/Motel...whatever you want to call it. It was like stepping back into 1973. And for what we paid....it was more like a $49.99 room than a $129.99 room. Panel walls, musty, no TV/hairdryer/internet...poor lighting. We went and sat at the nice pond in the back until it was time to go... More

We and another couple stayed here in October, and the location was beautiful, surrounded by trees. The grounds are amazing and beautiful. We were greeted warmly by Rick, and our check in process was flawless. Our two rooms overlooked the lake, and the screened porch/deck was a perfect place to have a cup of coffee in the morning. The rooms... More

Our schedule only allowed us to stay one night, but it was wonderful. We were greeted by Rick upon arrival; he told us where things were and the amenities including the kayaks that were available and places to eat nearby. We spent a beautiful afternoon on the water kayaking and fishing, then off to Johnson's for a nice dinner. We... More

My family and I stayed two nights in this quiet B&B. Our bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the breakfast choices were more than we could eat. Rick makes delicious waffles. We were happy that we didn't have to stay in a sterile chain hotel.

We stayed at the Inn in mid August and found it really pleasant and very clean. The setting on a lovely lake is peaceful and attractive. It is convenient to the attractions of the area. Rick and Michelle are wonderful hosts and work hard to make their guests comfortable. The breakfast offered nice choices and waffles cooked to order. Free... More

Stayed here for a family reunion weekend in Northwood. B&B was quite comfortable and Rick and Michelle were great hosts. We had to leave very early on Sunday to catch a flight and they set up coffee maker on a timer so we would not go without breakfast ! Great alternative to traditional hotel ! Thanks ! Old place -... I was riding in a horse show in nearby Deerfield, and chose Lake Shore Farm Inn over the big name hotels a bit further away. Very glad I did. My room overlooked the lawn and the lake and was very comfortable. Rick met me in the breakfast room bright and early every morning, and he makes excellent waffles. Between the... More
