We went spontaneously for three days to New Hampshire. It was myself, husband and 10 year old son. We enjoyed the 'suite' which is a lovely room with a queen bed, small hallway to a room with a single bed and bath. Everything was beautifully appointed but quaint, clean and fresh. The inn itself is immaculate and historical. It sits... More

My wife and I recently stayed at this Inn for 3 days. It is located at the foot of Lake Kezar and includes access to kayaks, canoes and a row boat for fishing or just to take a trip around the lake. The dock also has chairs where you can sit and read or just enjoy the view of the... More

I recently stayed at the Follansbee Inn with a close friend for three nights, and had a marvelous time there! The inn is a lovely three-story building that is fresh, sunny, clean, and filled with lovely historical touches, including antiques that decorate all the hallways and comfortably elegant public areas including a sitting room, game room, and dining room. I... More

Old mansion on the lake that has been painstakingly refurbished to it's previous glory. Rooms well furnished with huge, very comfortable beds. Host is a chef from Louisiana who prepares exquisite gourmet breakfasts every morning. Not the usual standard country bacon and eggs. Relax by the water or borrow a boat or bicycle to tour the lake and surrounding area

My husband and I wanted a nice, quiet place to unwind, and the Follansbee Inn was great! It's located on a small, tranquil lake. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the water and lounging in the hammock on the shore. It's located in a very small town, which was great for just relaxing.

I have stayed in many Inns and B&B's. This Inn was quite lovely. The buildings were build in 1840 and around 1900. The charm and antique look still exists through out the building. I spent many hours on the lovely porches relaxing and reading. If you want fancy modern then this place is not for you. There is WIFi but... More

My daughter and I just returned from our 7th annual Mother/Daughter trip. We spent 4 nights and 5 days in New London, New Hampshire at the Follansbee Inn. It was without a doubt our best trip thus far. New London was like stepping back in time. A single country store complete with penny candy and 16 year old boys in... More

I loved the Follansbee Inn. The rural setting is idyllic and the the home is well appointed with lots of antiques from our host's grandmothers home in New Orleans..It was never stuffy or reserved feeling. Lovely places to sit both by the lake and on the porch..as well as inside...I think everyone staying there was content. The breakfast prepared by... More

Just returned from a two day stay at the follansbee inn. We enjoyed it immensely. The breakfasts were fantastic. Love the Louisiana flavor! Also, since I am an animal lover, I loved meeting Angel, the sweet little resident dog!

Just returned from a visit to the Follansbee with a friend from England and we were all enchanted. Staying there was like stepping back in time to a much nicer era, when people had time to actually talk to each other. Perhaps that's because there isn't a TV in the whole place? The surroundings are spectacular with the lake and... More
