In a town in which the huge numbers of motels and hotels have become more and more commercial and indifferent to the average tourist, the Green Granite Inn stands out like a light in a dark place, for it remains as warm and attentive and genuinely welcoming as ever. My wife and I visit there about three times a year... more

Last year I wrote the "I Love this Place" Review because that is the way I once felt about the Green Granite. Then I stayed twice there last summer (June and August) and did this place change for the bad. First let me start out with June 2008. We got the room we wanted for the price we wanted. Then... more

I have been to the Green Granite Inn back in 1998 on a trip I have done with my father. In memory of this trip, I went there again to see, what it looks like today. To my pleasure and amusement it looked pretty much the same! I love the moose heads in the lobby and on the building. But... more

Loved this Inn. Staff were friendly. Good value for money. We were offered rooms on the second floor at first (2 Queens), but when I asked about elevators, which they haven,t, we were offered rooms on the ground floor (2 doubles). The lobby was large , but cozy, with big sofas, very inviting, even with the stuffed animals. Tea, coffee... more

This was a nice hotel; not knock-your-socks-off wonderful, but fine. The rooms were very clean, as were the bathrooms, although there was an unsightly water stain above the shower. They also had free wireless internet, which was nice. It should be noted that if you are going for the indoor pool or for the free breakfast, don't bother. We were... more

We stayed at the Green Granite Inn in early August 2008. I thought it would be a lot better that it was for the price. My biggest complaint is the in door pool area. The pool itself was a murky brown sort of color and the hot tub instantly turned in to a sea of nasty looking foam as soon... more

I just got back from a two night stay at the Green Granite. I was there with my two kids and their friend. The rooms are large but outdated. I loved that they have a free mini fridge in each room. I had brought a cooler to keep milk cold but was happy about the fridge in the room. The... more

Horrible place. Depressing room. Dark, outdated carpets, wallpaper, lighting and furnishings. Beds hard and uncomfortable and we were not sure if we were sleeping on clean sheets or not. Found small ants in the bathroom. They had a frequent guest program which we passed on after checking out after one nite. It was the only hotel available in North Conway... more

We have stayed at this location twice (2006+2007 July). For first timers in the area it is a great location (near outlets) and on the main drag, and reasonably priced. However, the lobby is probably the only nice thing about this place. It desperatly needs some renovations and new white paint yearly wouldn't hurt. The breakfast is fine but both... more

We ended up staying here after the North Conway Grand Hotel overbooked and sold our room. The North Conway Grand recommended the Green Granite and said they had plenty of room (they didn't - we ended up with the last room - evident by the full parking lot). The rooms were clean but, the hallways and common areas could have... more
