Rustic little cabins with all the necessary comforts (microwave & fridge). Neat, clean and comfortable with gas fireplace that keep our cabin toasty. Richard and Susan are lovely hosts. Be sure to stop in for Susan's fresh baked cookies in the afternoon. The cabins are located close to everything ~ walking distance to several restaurants and many shops. Already planning another... We spent two VERY enjoyable nights at the Old Red Inn and Cottages. There were 3 couples and we had seperate cottages. The cottages were very neat, clean, functional, and a bit rustic. I would recommend them to anyone to spend a day or two. Richard and Susan were MORE than cordial and FUN to be with. The meals, (... More

We came to Old Red Inn an a whim, thank god it was midweek because the place was booked on the weekend and I can see why! Our little cottage was just that, little, but it was perfect for our needs. Clean comfy bed, fridge, microwave and a lovely front porch to sit and enjoy the foliage. Breakfast was nummy... More

The fall foliage and Fryeburg Fair are a great way to spend a fall get-a-way, it is so nice to hear you a good time. The one bedroom cottages are comfy and you are right when the weather is nice it is great to just sit outside and enjoy the views. More

My husband and I stayed four nights in one of the cottages. The location is great, close to everything, the cottages are charming, decorated nicely, very nostalgic, like we stayed in as children. These cottage colonies are wonderful spots for families, they need to be supported as they are threatened by the large cookie cutter hotels. Richard and Sue were... More

This is a very charming place to say, warm, quiet, feels like home. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Delicious home cooked breakfast. Close to all attractions and outlet shopping. Great rates, affordable, especially for the area.

Fantastic spot for a family or a group. These cabins are right in the middle of town making it easy to get anywhere. Richard, Susan and their dog make the stay. They went above and beyond to help us out and can make a stellar breakfast! Can't wait to go back!!! Thanks again guys!

The Old Red Inn is a lovely and homey place to stay in the White Mountains. The cabins are wonderful. They are clean, spacious and charming. My family and I stayed for a week and wish it could have been longer.

We stayed in a room on the 3rd floor of the inn. Had a full size and a twin bed. Room was small, but clean and comfortable. Innkeepers were friendly and helpful. Location is perfect for North Conway/ White Mountain activities. Canoe/kayak/bike rentals nearby. Can walk to North Conway center and avoid the traffic. Cookies and fruit every afternoon in... More

They are indeed basic cottages. While it had everything advertised, not all was quite what I expected. Double bed- ok. Bed that sags so badly that I felt my partners every move -not ok. There was a small fridge and coffee maker in the room. The bathroom was tiny and the door would not close. The hot water for the... More

We are sorry that you felt the bed was not comfortable but that everything else was as advertised, the cottage has a on-demand hot water heater and the water will stay hot for as long as it is demanded. When a two bedroom cottage is rented the rate is based is based on up to four guest, which is what... More

Five of us stayed at the Old Red Inn for two nights. Not only is this inn rustic and historic, but very comfortable and cozy. The owners and their two delightful dogs were friendly and hospitable! Evenings on the porch welcoming the cool breezes and conversation. Just a quick walk into North Conway with many wonderful shops and a variety... More
