We stayed here for two nights and highly enjoyed ourselves. The rooms were clean and soothing. Nothing beats a cozy afternoon by the fireplace. The inn keeper was very personable and made our stay extremely satisfying. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and probably the highlight of our weekend. He recommended restaurants, gave us cross country ski trail passes for free and even helped us plan our drive back to Boston through Maine. I have never stayed in a 240 year old building before but we loved every minute of it. Beautifully remodeled, it still definitely shows its age but I have to say Disney could not We went with the family and could stay in a suite with 2 bedrooms which was perfect. I spent a skiing weekend with my son at the Isaac Merrill House but wish I had been there the week before with my girlfriend for Valentine's Day. What a charming place with such a friendly atmosphere! It was warm and cozy and everyone was very attentive to our needs. I can't wait to go back! more
