Very comfortable and very welcoming. We visited the Eastman Inn for one night and wished we could have stayed for a few more. We were warmly greeted by the owner and we were encouraged to take full advantage of what their Inn offered. We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon on the veranda, ate our own supper on the deck and enjoyed... More

I hate to write a negative review about a small business because I empathize with how much work it is to keep up with the myriad tasks of running a B & B. However, my husband and I were unprepared for the shabbiness of the Eastman Inn and for the sense that it wasn't all that clean, although that may... More

We value the opinions of our guests and reviews that are less than stellar help us improve our service for our future guests-thank you for helping make a stay at our B&B a fabulous experience for everyone. Our breakfasts always receive positive reviews; the only concerns most guests verbalize is the portions are too large. However, we certainly would have... More

My fiance and I went up July 4th weekend. Check-in was easy, we were brought to the room we booked (#12), which had the bathroom out in the hallway. This was not an issue the whole weekend (except there are wide fluctuations in water temp when everyone is getting their day going, so be the first to shower!). The place... More

My husband and I returned to the Eastman Inn after many years and were pleasantly surprised but the congeniality of our host and the comfortable, spacious room. The breakfast was a great way to enjoy the company of other guests and share tips for navigating the shops and restaurants.

Stayed at the Inn in March 2014. The room had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Add to that a cozy comforter, a spacious bathroom with soaking tub and amenities hotels seem to be cutting back on (shampoo, lotion, blow dryer) and I was in heaven. The breakfast was fabulous and more than I could eat. Hot... More

We stayed in Room 7 at the Eastman Inn. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfortable! Bathroom had a huge tub with a great shower. Had breakfast both days we were there, and it was delicious. Great location too. Would recommend to friends, and will stay here again if we return to the area.

We stayed at the Eastman Inn to have some down time during a busy weekend of skiing/boarding and family, and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. I did not realize it was a B&B when I booked the room, and we loved the personal tour of the place to our room. The room was so comfortable, and I can't... More

We stayed at the Eastman Inn the first weekend of February and had a lovely time. We've stayed at several inns in North Conway, and this one tops the list. Rooms are updated. Breakfast is delicious. And the owners are truly hospitable. We stayed in room 3. While it's on the road side, we found the traffic noise so minimal... More

We were fortunate to stay here over Thanksgiving 2013. Our room was comfortable and charming, the breakfasts were healthy and delicious and Art and Marta, most gracious. Definitely one of our favorites inns.

We stayed here during the peak Fall season and enjoyed it very much. The building itself and the décor and furnishings are charming and welcoming. We especially loved the quilts over the chairs on the porch. The complimentary tea, coffee and cookies is a nice touch as are the plentiful bowls of candy around the communal areas. Our room (the twin)... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to the Eastman Inn, a 14 room bed and breakfast located in the heart of the White Mountains. Let Arthur, Marta, or Trina welcome you to our inn with a smile, a cup of tea, a bottle of cold water and some fresh baked cookies. As you enter through our dining area you will be greeted and given a tour of the common areas. Most people love to sit on our porch above the main road heading into town. You can relax on one of our porch rockers and watch the world go by. In our parlor you will find a bookshelf of games and books for you to enjoy. Use the dining tables for that late night game of scrabble. In the winter we light the fireplace in the evenings. Each of our 14 rooms have a private bath. Our rooms are all individually decorated, some have claw foot tubs with a shower combination, others a Jacuzzi bath and others a regular stall shower. Rooms come with King or Queen beds and we even have a room with Antique Twin beds on the first floor. In the morning come down for early coffee. We need it as we cook your breakfast, so by 7:00 am we guarantee a fresh pot. You can try earlier, but we could be grumpy if that first "Cooks" pot has not fully brewed. We do our best to make you feel like family, so there are few formalities, we all just respect each others privacy and property. Ask us for hints on things to do or places to visit. We have scoured the Mount Washington Valley and we can give you pointers on avoiding the crowds, yet getting that perfect picture of a Moose, Bear or beautiful stream. The Eastman Inn has been welcoming guests for around 100 years and we hope to do it another 100. Call or make an online reservation soon, we hope to make you a very satisfied 'returning' guest. Our Eastman Family has grown so much in the past 8 years. ... more   less
