We just returned from a much needed weekend getaway. We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and it was fantastic. The house and the land was just beautiful, the inkeepers were so nice and personable that we hated to leave. We highly reccomend the buttonwood and intend returning in the summer. more

We stayed at the Buttonwood Inn for three nights in January.Paula and Bill are great Inn keepers. The Breakfasts and afternoon treats were superb. The snowshoeing from the Inn up Mt Surprise was excellent. The Inn is very cozy. We spent a lot of time in the family room at night in front of the fireplace. The room was very... more

The Buttonwood Inn is actually in Bartlett, but is still well located for sightseeing. My husband and I had previously visited North Conway 5 years earlier, and had stayed at a different property. We found the breakfasts served to be rather unusual and not something that UK guests would normally eat (for example roasted potatoes, asparagus tips, broccoli etc), and... more

This was our second time staying at The Buttonwood Inn. Last year we stayed there for the Polar Express package, and our family thoroughly enjoyed staying there. It kept right in line with the entire winter in New England theme. This year we decided to return during Christmas vacation with our four children. The Inn is in a very quiet... more

One of my girlfriends suggested the Buttonwood Inn, since she stayed there last year. We had a wonderful time!!!! The innkeepers Bill and Paula were warm and friendly and made us... more

We visited the Inn for three nights. Our group consisted of 6 women looking for a nice getaway and a little shopping. We got so much more! The Inn is gorgeous, impeccably appointed and clean. The rooms were well outfitted and the bed was a dream. I also appreciated the fact that the Inn is concerned about the environment and... more

North Conway, The Buttonwood In, Mt Sunrise Road 29th/30th September, 2008 Reviewer : Mr & Mrs P A Rice We were welcomed into this delightful Inn by Bill Petrone, who together with his wife Paula, own and run the Buttonwood. This 1820's farmhouse has a cosy, homely feel and there is always a wonderful aroma of home baking. Our deluxe... more

We stayed at the Buttonwood Inn in October 2008 as part of a 3 week tour of New England. Our welcome was warm and informative. The Inn is Beautiful, with very good relaxation space for weary travellers. Our breakfasts were delicious, Paul is a very good cook. The afternoon tea time treats were very welcome after a long day exploring... more

This is very comfortable accommodation in a rural setting on the outskirts of North Conway: moose and bear sometimes visit the garden, but not while we were there! Other visitors have had better luck. The bedroom was well appointed with good views to the back and side of the house. Guests can make full use of a large sitting room... more
