My husband and I stayed here with friends and were absolutely thrilled with this wonderful B and B. Spotlessly clean, wonderful breakfast and wonderful hosts. We go to North Conway every fall/winter; we will definitely be back in 2008. more

We have just returned from 3 wonderful nights stay at the Spruce Moose and cannot recommend it highly enough. This is a gem of a B&B, with wonderful decor, comfortable rooms and all those extra little touches that really make a place special. Staying at Spruce Moose was a wonderful experience and we really felt taken care of. Nellie and... more

The Spruce Moose provided the ideal get-away for us and our yellow lab. We stayed in the Smith Cottage. As there are few pictures on the website, I wasn't sure what to expect. The furniture was a little dated / mismatched, the towels didn't match, the dishes in the kitchen seemed to be collected at random over the years. The... more

This inn was a perfect place to relax and renew. Sitting by the fireplace was a great place to sit and enjoy a good book. The innkeepers are thoughtful and make you feel like you are home. They are always ready to assist. It was an awesome experience. Sure to return. more

Stratford Upon Avon - UK My husband and I stayed at the Spruce Moose in October this year. It was our second trip there having stayed previously in 2006. We loved it so much on our first visit that we designed our holiday itinery around staying there on this holiday. We were not disapointed and the Spruce Moose more than... more

We happened upon The Spruce Moose 3 years ago, and since then have made several trips back. It gets better with each visit! The innkeepers, Nellie & Leon, and the inn dogs are committed to providing their guests with a warm, friendly place to stay; a base lodge for the myriad activities available in the White Mountains. Comfortable rooms, great... more

Does the Moose need another First Rate review? It seems to me that they have enough already! So I'll be short and to the point. All you've read is true, it's a terrific place. Accomodation great, breakfasts great and hosts great. Location is away from the noise of main street, but walkable to the restaurants. Listen to Leon & Nellie... more

This year was our third stay at the Spruce Moose. All three of our visits were in the Pierce cottage with our dogs. The Inn is located a few minutes walk from town with great shopping and dining, yet is also only minutes from great hiking and canoeing spots making this a perfect place for the shopper and the naturalist... more

We've just returned from a week at the Spruce Moose Lodge & Cottages, and had a great vacation. The lodge is in a perfect location, a couple of minutes from the heart of town. An easy walk. We stayed in the Chief's Quarters and found the cottage to be clean & spacious, as well as warm and inviting. Nellie &... more

This was our first stay at the Spruce Moose and we can't wait to come back! We had a wonderful family weekend in the Chief's Quarters. Since we are not pet owners, I was a bit apprehensive about staying in a place that welcomed pets. I should not have worried - everything was recently renovated, very well maintained and super... more
