The Spruce Moose was perfect for us: a quiet and spacious cabin a 5 minute walk from the heart of North Conway. Our cabin had a nicely equipped kitchen with ample room to spread out, a nice master bedroom, kids room with 2 comfy bunk beds, outdoor grill and a nice outdoor space. The structure itself was a little wonky and... More

My husband & I travel from Ont. to N.S, , via N.H. each summer by motorcycle ,for the past decade (we've only missed one I think ) & always stay with Nelly & Leon. We are welcomed & feel very much 'at home' there ,whether enjoying sitting on the porch relaxing or poking around the shops downtown . Our room... More

I 've visited the States many times for more than 40 years now and I've never met such a nice couple of owners like Nelly and Leon ; victim of a terrible car accident (total loss) , I was looking for a rental to return home and Leon helped me to find one for two days driving me around because... My daughter and I were looking for a reasonably priced B & B and came across The Spruce Moose. We were delighted with the warmth of the owners, Nellie and Leon. It was hot outside so we were grateful for the window unit air conditioner in the room. We shared a queen sized bed which was fine. The room was... More

I must admit that because we were heading back to Canada we looked upon this as just a one night stay BUT with the friendly hosts Nellie & Joel on hand plus the ambience of being back in the days when life was gentle! and the wonderful breakfast plus afternoon cookies, we wanted to stay longer but needs must, we... We had the pleasure of staying with one of the nicest women we've ever met, Nelli. We had the Little House for 4 nights, three teens, two adults, two dogs, one bathroom. Plenty of space. Bedrooms spread apart in the house. Perfect for a family vacation...very private, gas grill, deck. Kitchen is well equipped and sunny, good size bathroom, bedrooms... More

My sister and I returned to the Spruce Moose Lodge for our third annual visit this June. We spent the week hiking and playing tennis (New England Tennis Holidays) and enjoying North Conway. Our stay at Sprunce Moose, as usual, was delightful. The breakfasts were wonderful and as were the afternoon cookies. I happened to mention the lemon squares we... More

I had the immense pleasure of staying at the Spruce Moose Lodge. We stayed in the "little cottage" which is simply charming and had me in relaxation mode the minute I stepped in the door, maybe even the minute I stepped on the porch! The entire lodge and B&B is just beautiful and located within walking distance to town yet... More

We booked last minute; the inn keepers couldn't be nicer or more accommodating . We had two dogs (big and small) who needed to come as well...they were welcome, greeted and tended to ("ooh this must be Ace!) it was lovely. We were able to leave them in the room when we ran an errand/went to dinner. The owners are... More

The Spruce Moose Lodge is the perfect place to stay in North Conway. The location is great and the accomodations even better! Returning to New Hampshire for the first time in 20 years or so it was a pleasure to experience the charm of New England in all it's glory here. The accomodations are clean, cozy & comfortable. The owners,... More
