we recently spent one night at this lodge, arriving late so we did not meet the innkeepers. We would never stay there again. The inn is old and not updated at all. In fact it smells musty. Our room was very small, which was fine as we were only there for one night, but the air conditioner didnt do the... More

We regret that one of our guests left us so unhappy. We would like to take this opportunity to clarify our check in policy : It is stated on all sites, including on expedia.com where this guest booked the room, that our check in time is between 3 pm and 8 pm. We are a Bed & Breakfast with limited... More

From the moment you walk in the front door, you are made to feel as though you were one of the family. From the first greeting to the tour to the explanation of the location of everything you may need, this bed-and-breakfast Is a home away from home. The grounds are well-kept and the location is away from town which... More

We loved the lodge. The room was small but had everything we needed. The water pressure in the shower was good, but the shower was small. The bed was comfortable and the AC cooled the room well. We slept with the window open and the sound of frogs in the pond was a highlight. The lodge is convenient to everything... More

We spent 5 nights (July 2013) and it was a wonderful relax atmosphere. We slept in this little quiet heaven hearing the frogs sing at night as we drifted to sleep. Morning breakfasts are AWESOME and made with a lot of attention to satisfy everybody's taste! The owners took the time to provide us with tips on hikes to do... More

We stayed for 2 nights (July 2013) - in the middle of a heat wave - at the Cranford Mountain Lodge. The location is great because it is away from Main Street in North Conway, and yet you are five minutes from everything – shopping, train rides, restaurants, Cathedral Ledge, etc. It’s a pretty old house and the property is... My wife and I stayed in the Babe Ruth room and it was very nice. Bed is comfortable. Being a Baseball fan it felt awesome to be in the room that one of the greatest baseball players ever stayed. The owners are very sweet. The lodge is in a great place if you like peace and quiet. All you hear... More

The Lodge is very much like a B&B with excellent breakfasts and lots to do on the property; swim in a crystal clear pool, fish in pond (bring your rods), hike, access to the brook, tennis, basketball, and living room filled with everything for kids, and another room for more adult quieter times. Families - there are toys, a train... More

We are glad you had an excellent stay with us. We would like to take this opportunity to confirm that we are indeed a Bed & Breakfast and not a lodge, as we live on premises and raise our children at Cranmore Mountain Lodge. We hope welcoming your family again in the near future. Freddie, Thierry and their children More

Our family of 5 has just returned home and I'm going to only rate one place that we stayed and it's the Cranmore Mountaine Lodge. We were greeted by Freddie who showed us around the property as if we were her first guests. There were so many amenities such as a game room, library, pool, hot tub, tennis area, stocked... More

We've stayed here many times now, and our 8 year old considers it "another home". Though it was extremely hot and steamy outside, we were cool and comfortable in our room, in the pool, or dipping our toes in the stream out back. My two fishermen caught several trout in the stocked pond, our son enjoyed the playroom games, and... More

Great place to stay. This older, rambling lodge is not the Ritz but does feature five star hospitality from the owners and a five star breakfast. The location is good although it is not really within an easy walk to the main street, you will need your car to get there. We will stay here on our next trip to... More
