My family loved the Cranmore Mountain Lodge. Your quiintessential New England country inn, this property really knows how to accommodate kids. As a former pre-school owner, Frederique (who to my surprise was a woman!) has stocked the inn with toys, games and books. You name the kid diversion - they have it including a great pool, hot tub, ping pong... more

This was our first visit to Cranmore Mountain Lodge. We loved it! The innkeepers are friendly and very customer service oriented. The first morning we got off to a rocky start with a trickling shower. When we mentioned it to Frederique, she was very concerned and promised to get it fixed right away. She also offered to upgrade our room... more

We stayed here at the end of July and really enjoyed it. The inn is 150+ years old and has an very cozy, family feel to it. We stayed in room 7, a cozy room that overlooks the hot tub and beautiful backyard. Another plus was that the inn is about a mile and a half from route 16, so... more

Had a nice peaceful and comfortable weekend at the inn this past month. The common rooms were great, with a nice fireplace and fantastic piano that we had fun playing. The room was cozy and warm and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was hearty and good. The hot tub was awesome. We loved drinking some wine in it at night.... more

In December 2005 my family and I (husband, two boys ages 9 and 7, and mother) stayed at the Cranmore Mt. Lodge. Our lodging was part of a Polar Express Train package including, 5 Polar Express Train Tickets, 2 nights lodging, breakfast and dinner on Saturday. We had a rough drive from Boston to North Conway (Nor'easter) but nevertheless it... more

My husband and I were looking for a quiet, relaxing place to spend our honeymoon and Cranmore Mountain Lodge met all of our needs and more! Our room was wonderful, as was the entire Lodge. My husband, a true baseball fan, loved the fact that we got to stay where Babe Ruth spent time and even got to play cards... more

I recently traveled with my family from Toronto to North Conway, NH, and stayed two nights at the Cranmore Mountain Lodge. What a fantastic stay! My husband, two kids and I absolutely enjoyed the fantastic facilities right there on the property. There's a lovely grassy yard with a trout and duck pond (including three resident Peking ducks). Just near the... more

We stayed at Cranmore Mountain Lodge for 2 nights from July 5th to July 7th. We hadn't made a prior booking and this certainly worked to our advantage, we paid $160 for 2 nights in the Babe Ruth Room. This also included breakfast. It is slightly outside the main shopping and restaurant area of North Conway but it is only... more

This was our second visit to New England, yes we liked it so much we just had to return. We had stayed at another B and B on our previous visit so we knew what the quality in the area was, Cranmore was better than anything we had hoped for. I can't quite say just like home, but it was... more

I recently stayed at the Cranmore Mountain Lodge in North Conway, and I will certainly be back to this gem of an inn. The main building represents quintessential New England comfort, with common areas including a piano room with roaring fire and another spacious living room to relax in. The main house and another detached building are located on several... more
