Don't get me wrong, the place is great - nearby many amenities, a large park, and an ice cream shop across the street. However, if you're a non-smoker and traveling solo, beware. They put me in a smoker's room, right beside another smoker's room (the doors face each other) - the smoke from the other room leaks in and chokes you non-smokers.

There was often yelling from neighbouring rooms in the middle of the night, and the TVs next door were often on until 2am. I believe the motel doubles as a residential apartment in spots; the max number of nights is 70, so I have my doubts. Room rates are $55 for a single, not sure for others. If you can sleep with smoke, yelling or the TV on, you can sleep here for sure.

Otherwise, the room was quite spacious for my first motel room. The Full-sized bed was a welcome change from a single at home. The microwave takes twice as long to heat something up than a regular microwave. The bar fridge works perfectly. Wireless internet not... more
