I recently attended a week long class at King Arthur Education Center in Norwich, VT. When looking for accommodations, my criteria was simple; clean, comfortable and reasonably close by. All goals were not only met, but surpassed. My room was spotless, bright, very nice comfortable furnishings, and fresh cozy linens, towels and robe. The restaurant was open for dinner three... More

We stayed at the Lyme Inn the last two weekends and the stay could not have been better. Their new pricing is highly competitive with the two top hotels in Hanover. The addition of their new Chef Tony is a welcome addition. We had a total of 2 dinners and 3 breakfasts during the last two stays. The menu is... More

We were greeted by smiling faces, clean inviting rooms, large cold martinis, and excellent food. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our early morning schedule, opening early in the restaurant. Dan and Bruce made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We will be back for sure. Loved it!! From the moment we walked through the front door, Bill at the front desk welcomed us. Ours rooms were all gorgeous and the beds felt like home (I have a very comfy bed). Bruce at the Restaurant was awesome, the food delicious!! I would go back in a heartbeat!!

We needed to be near Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for early morning appointments twice this past week so we decided to overnight close by rather than make the 2 hour drive down from northern Vermont . On our first visit we stayed in room 26 which was on the front of the inn overlooking the historic center of the picture postcard... More

As we walked through the door our eyes were delighted in what we saw. I opened the front door to a lovely entrance to the front desk. Where a smiling face was waiting to greet us. Bill was our first encounter at the Lyme Inn. A quick check in process and then off to our room. Wow expectations met doubled,... More

My husband and I stayed at the lyme inn last night. I hardly ever review places but I had to review this inn. It was wonderful. The room was a junior suite and it was beautiful. The staff was accommodating beyond belief the breakfast was included and it was delicious. We also ate at the restaurant last night and the... More

Our family stayed at the Lyme Inn for a few nights in January and we all loved it. The beds are extremely comfortable and cozy. I think my favorite part, though, is the bathrooms -- it feels like you're in a spa!! The shower is incredible and the robes are fluffy and comfortable! The rooms are quite elegant and inviting.... My wife and I stayed at the Lyme Inn during our visit to New England in October. The Inn is tastefully furnished and the bedrooms are truly sumptuous. The bar/restaurant is very cosy and the food absolutely first class. We would have no hesitation in recommending this Inn to others - you will not be disappointed! Heather & Peter

The Lyme Inn is a recently restored and fully renovated small inn in the scenic village of Lyme, NH. Nothing was spared on the renovation. There is an elevator, not always available in small old inns. We had a wonderful room with a view of the changing leaves of October. The rooms are all new, with upscale furnishings and finishes...
