I came here to take a few days of rest from my hectic life; and it was everything I needed (and more if one were looking for more) The Innkeepers/Chef owners, Peter and Karen are most attentive and obviously caring folks when it comes to being phenomenal innkeepers. My room was perfect for me, quiet country tasteful decor with modern... more

The Inn is beautiful & in a beautiful and remote location. The food in the restaurant was very good. Our room was small but attractive. The Inn has a beautiful porch which the staff made very inaccessible, refusing to allow us to have our dessert there and shooing us away when we arrived there early after a long drive. We... more

We booked our stay based entirely on Trip Advisor reviews and, once again, were not disappointed. The Ammonoosuc was everything and more than we expected. Beautiful location, great views, lovely rooms, well maintained property, friendly accommodating inn keepers, good food - this place has it all! We were travelling with a friend from Switzerland (a country known for its high... more

This is a restaurant that has everything! Beginning with the view from the porch where you may have a glass of wine, a menu with a variety of entrees, a phenomenal chef, and great wait staff. more

I stayed at the Ammmonoosuc Inn for 2 days recently for a weekend to get away for some R & R. I couldn't have picked a better place. My room was very clean and inviting, with a gas burning fireplace, a large claw foot tub perfect for a soothing bath and a view of the mountains. The food in the... more

We six (three generations) stayed at this idyllic little inn for the fall foliage. We were lavished with Karen's exquisite cooking and Peter's generous hospitality for three nights. Without doubt the highlight of our holiday to New England. more

We booked our two night stay thru their website. (Good site, pictures, availability shown, easy to use.) We stayed for two nights in the Zinfandel suite. The suite had been recently redone and was very comfortable. There was a standalone glass shower unit in half of the bathroom and a jacuzzi in the other half (with a television mounted on... more

If you want a homey place with a great view this place is for you. The place has been recently updated and is clean. The porch overlooks the golf course and rte 302. Breakfast was included w/ a limited menu. Rooms are smallish but nice. The Innkeeper was friendly. We had other plans for dinner but would definitely try it... more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ammonoosuc Inn, my wife and I spent our anniversary there. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the Inn has a nice view of the Ammonoosuc river, with a pretty golf course in front and mountains in back. The room we booked (The Syrah Room) was decent sized, clean, and attractively decorated. I... more
