My husband & I had a horrible time at the Indian head. We were going for a combo vacation and my birthday being on the second night of our stay. First of all, we got there it took over 50 minutes to check in due to a new computer system problem. Then we finally get checked in and they give... More

The people at the desk are accomodating and highly spirited. Very helpful with local tourist suggestions. It's not a fancy place. It in an area where at some of the resorts children stay for free - so lots of young kids and plenty of events for them. Lots of families and good number of motorcyclists. Even though we were not... Please not that the Indian Head Resort is still standing! The Old Man of the Mountain is the rock profile that (sadly) is no longer with us. Thanks for you kind words. More

We stayed one night. Great location to attractions, nice pool & jacuzzi although walking around the pool there were drainage issues and deep puddles. Front desk staff was helpful. That's it for the compliments. On the short walk to the room it became obvious that the hotel needs major renovating rather than the nip tuck it seems to be receiving.... More

I came to the hotel to get a room for my family and 2 year old son. I asked for a suite, and negotiated a price. My wife went to see the room, which was advertised as 4 bedrooms/beds. It ended up being 2 beds and a sofa, not a significant problem, we decided we can squeeze. I finally get... More

I spent a lot of time looking for a cabin rental for our family vacation. Based on the web site and driving by there many times Indian Head Resort seemed like a good choice. We rented a cottage about three weeks out. Upon arriving our check-in was good and we were directed to our cabin. On-line pictures are always deceiving....you... More

Pictures are deceiving....we stayed in a cabin (my husband had to stay home and work last minute thankfully) We would not have all fit in the cabin.....3 people fit just ok. One ancient tv sitting on a small fridge in the living room. NO PHONES people...make sure your cell works (mine didn't). Tiny bedroom that just fit the small double... More

It had been 17 yrs since I had been to the Indian Head Resort. 2 friends and I decided to see how the Mothers Day special was. I cant say enough! The rooms were clean and large enough for the 3 of us. The 50" TV was a bonus. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was the... More
