If you have kids, this is a great place to stay! One mile from Whale's Tale and many other attractions that the White Mountains have to offer! There is a heated indoor and outdoor pool and jacuzzi at each pool. Fireworks on Sunday and Thursday night, an on-site restaurant with a very affordable meal plan, entertainment, shuffleboard, laundry, gift shop,... More

We stayed in a large lakeview room which was really nice. The resort is convenience to all attractions. The property appears to be well maintained. Plenty to do....paddle boats, two pools (indoor and outdoor) and a game room. The food in the restaurant was very good. The only complaint is the lack of air conditioning in the game room. Would... We have been traveling to Indian Head Resort for the past 10 summers. The staff is friendly and it really is a Resort. With so much to do--paddle boats, fishing on the private lake, 2 pools and hot tub. Not to mention the kids dinner buffet and nightly children's activities like bingo, clowns and magic shows. There is a lot... More

We stayed in one of the cottages at Indian Head, and it was really nice. It was the off-season, so there weren't many guests, so it was very quiet and romantic. The fireplace was awesome and the little porch was nice. We weren't crazy about the food because it seemed like it catered more to the palates of old people... More

I've stayed at the IndianHead resort over the years. The reason we keep coming back is simple, the staff make you feel welcome from the time you arrive. The rooms are clean..not that you spend much time in there because of all the good activities the resort offers. The restaurant is offordable so you can bring the family and it... More

Overall a nice place. We happened to stay here during April school vacation week when believe it or not the weather was 80+ degrees, sunny and beautiful. We have visited this area before in August and it wasn't that warm. With the great weather we made lots of use of the outdoor facilities, swimming pool and jacuzzi. They offer a... More

Nice place, great location. But exercise room is an abomination. Really, that sounds harsh. but the universal gym equipment is unsafe. It's not properly fastened to the floor, the pulley and wire system is frayed and not funtioning at all. See my pictures. Pay attention to what they are using a 4 inch screw for on the equipment. I will... More

Try and come once or twice a year with the boyfriend. We like to come in the off season, right between summer and ski season. The hotel is generally nice and quiet a that time and there are great hiking trails in the area. After a tiresome day of walking and exploring, its really nice to get back to the... More

Had a great stay at the Indian Head Resort with my 2 sons on a ski trip. As my son put it, "They roll out the red carpet for kids." From the free make your own ice cream sundaes, to the kids buffett for dinner and breakfast, to the game room, out door jacuzzi and pool. The room (we stayed... More
