I was a little nervous reading the posted comments. Our family is used to the 5 star resorts in Florida. It is an affordable vacation for a family. I recommend the meal plan. The resort itself is an older place but clean. It could use updating. But on a positive note...The pools were clean the kids ( ages 7-18 )... More

Wendy & Dennis - I want to thank you for making the past six scrapbooking events some of the most fun and memorable for me. As the Sales Office Staff you cover all my questions, concerns and issues with professionalism, style and humor. Being organized and keeping the lines of communication open, help me tremendously. These attributes take the burden... More

The worst customer service experience ever! We spoke with someone called Wendy in sales. Saying rude is being polite. Never encountered worst customer skills and we all travel every two months. There is no response once you send your money in. 0 business manners. It seems that any question we asked her was a pain for her to answer. There would... More

We had a great time at the Beacon, with it's easy access to Loon Mtn. (5 minute drive). It is definitely an older resort, but clean, comfortable and SO affordable! Also, the staff is super friendly and knows the area well. We had some minor reservation problems, but were graciously upgraded to a suite, which would be perfect for any... More

Went for a short ski trip 3 night stay. Our room wasn't bad looking, had a jaccuzi in a huge bathroom (ceiling above jaccuzii has bad staining) and gas fireplace. Although, we didn't light it because the room was so warm. we had to open a window. Watch out for the tack strips in floor between fireplace tiles and carpet..... More

I should have known when we went into the office to check in and there was a strong smell of stale cigarettes . . . sure, I thought, for the price of just over $100, what do you expect? It got worse. After checking in just after 9pm there was very loud banging and a man yelling just down the... More

I have been going to the Beacon for years. It is a family run resort and I see the same staff every time I visit - which says a lot about the place. I am dismayed to see that some have left negative reviews on this web page. The Beacon is not the "Ritz." For the amount you pay per... More

This was my second time to the beacon, Got engaged there 2 years ago over christmas, and returned to celebrate this year. It was fair 2 years ago, but this year rates have gone way up. The buildings are falling apart, it rains on you when you are inside, and rains into indoor electrical outlets. Plaster is falling off walls... More

If you choose to stay at the Beacon Resort, upgrade to a suite in Beacon North. We upgraded upon seeing our outdated room in the older part of the hotel. The upgraded suite was very nice and good sized. We did notice the housekeeper had not put the dishes away from the dishwasher, nor had the counter been wiped down.... More

This was the worst place I have stayed in New Hampshire, the room had a very bad odor (mold) along with many things in the room not working. The bed was as hard as sleeping on the floor. This place needs a makeover big time. I suggest offering your customers free coffee in the morning as a start. I will... More
