We did a one night stop here on a Motorcycle trip. It was mc week in New Hampshire and we were welcomed. Call them directly for room and rates. We went on line and got the song and dance about "sorry only smoking rooms at that rate are available...In fact there are no Smoking rooms at all.. The Hotel is... More

What an odd place - a 'condo apartment', so rather than a hotel room it was a mini-apartment with kitchen/sitting-room, bedroom and bathroom. All the cupboards were full of someone else's stuff - snowboard, winter clothing, etc And things like the TV & DVD player, the furniture, the pictures on the walls were all secondhand-looking, as though someone had furnished... From the moment we walked in the door Patsy made us so welcome, gave us the full run down of the area, handed us maps, marked different attractions, shops, restaurants etc. the lodge is set off the main road and is very quiet. We loved being able to open the windows, sit on the balcony at sun set with nibbles... More

the 2nd hotel on our trip, nice location, clean room, staff were polite and friendly. if you stay here go across the road to the common man restaurant, the food and staff were fantastic, well worth a visit.

We were expecting a lot more for our money. The decor in the condo was severely outdated as was the rest of the lodge. The condo was set up very poorly as well. The tv remote did not work and only one of us could take a complete hot shower. The other 4 of us had lukewarm or cold showers.... More

Apparently all the units are privately owned so it is pot luck as to the standard of the room you get. Our room overlooked the car park..not good but not everyone can have the good outlook although the hotel was no where near full so why we couldn't have been given a room with a view I'm not sure. Maybe... More

This hotel is made up of condo units rented out and from talking to David at the front desk, it's really a crap shoot if you don't call in to request a certain "class" of room. I booked this room rather last minute from a popular travel site. From the photos, it didn't look bad for the total price of... More

I believe these are individually owned Condo's that are rented out through The Lodge. We stayed in Room A102. This is a one bedroom condo, with a small kitchen, living/dining area, good sized bedroom and a balcony with views of The Loon Mountain ski trails. Great location with easy access to Loon ski area, Woodstock and a short drive to... More

If you go, request room D116! First let me say that the staff was great and very accommodating. The hotel itself feels a little outdated...long dark hallways, outdated carpeting etc. We used the pool and the hot tub and I felt all those areas were very clean...just outdated. The room however, absolutely AWESOME!! My understanding is that each room is... More

Stayed in room D116 ( felt like a small condo) it was perfect, recently refurbished, everything was new, including appliances. Views were great, private balcony and walk down stairs to river. We went for a quiet retreat, so made breakfast and dinner in room. We enjoyed the Flume , the many stops along the Kacamagus Highway and Cannon Mountain Tramway... More
