I had read the other reviews and just want it to be known that The EF Lane Hotel is a very nice place to stay and their location is the best available in the area. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. more

I travel to the Keene area a few times a year on business. I usually stay at the Holiday Inn, as it's close to the highway and I've gotten to know the staff pretty well. This last trip the Holiday Inn was sold out, so the referred me to the EF Lane Hotel. What could be a very nice hotel... more

Highly overated. It is in a good spot downtown and that's a good thing however: Inconvenient Parking since it's behind the building and on the roof of a garage. To get to the hotel one must walk downstairs, across a street and a parking lot and up stairs to the rear of the hotel. Of course you have to get... more

Our May 2008 Wedding was made complete by the extraordinary service provided by Heidi Hale and her phenomenal staff. The care and energy that the E.F. Lane gave to our family and friends during the entire wedding weekend made everyone feel comfortable and at home. The accommodations were superb! The catering service by Luca and his staff made our wedding... more

We stayed at EFLane Hotel two nights, Friday and Saturday. Do not stay in room 306 if there is live music! It is right above the noisey bar and they have loud live music until after midnight. The water in a glass shook. We felt like visitors to Jurassic Park. There was no luxury in this hotel, despite the pretty... more

Lousy We arrived for our daughter’s orientation weekend at Keene State, only to find that they booked our room a month earlier. When my wife attempted, politely, to discuss the problem with the person at the front desk, she was indifferent, rude, at one point turning from my wife in a huff, and exclaiming “jeez!” under her breath. She would... more

The basement suite we stayed in had a mold problem, which at $265 a night is pretty dissapointing. The bed and sheets were institutuional grade, the "jacuzzi" I was promised was a bathtube with jets in it and the lampshades had tears and burn marks on them. I was upset that the "suite" was in the basement-it was like a... more

I was plesantly surprised with the EF Lane hotel. I had low expectations knowing a little about the location and that it is a college town. But we booked a 2 floor suite and it was clean and friendly. The sofa bed was horribly uncomfortable but has anyone ever slept on a comfortable sleeper sofa? I recommend this hotel for... more

EF Lane is one of my favorite hotels to stay in. I spent the night on a whim once and have planned occasional overnight trips there since because I liked it so much. The first thing you notice about the hotel, wether you call or walk in, is that the desk staff is very accomodating. They will willingly give you... more

I've stayed at the Hotel several times while I've been cleaining out my Father's house in Peterborough and then visiting him in assisted living. The Hotel is great. The three different rooms I've had are excellent. And the restaurant is world-class. I've hit over twenty countries in Europe and Africa so I've got quite a few scars on my suitcase.... more
