My experience with B&B's is that the owners make or break the experience. From the moment we checked in Priscilla was welcoming and engaging. It was a pleasure staying at her house, eating her delicious meals, and chatting about everything under the sun. Would recommend staying here again and plan to myself in the future.

My daughter and I took a little mini-vacation in the White Mountains and were excited to discover this place. The owners take great pride in restoring this historic home to an exquisite condition and were very warm and gracious hosts. Applebrook has a wonderful feel to it. The common rooms are very sunny and uplifting with fantastic mountain views. The... More

This was our first stay at Applebrook. We stayed two nights and will definitely be staying again soon. We traveled to NH to do a single day Presidential Traverse and used Applebrook as our base camp. We stayed in the "Paleo" room, which was a great value. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The mattress is... More

We stayed for one night on the 14 th and Applebrook was great. We stayed in Valerie and the roomwas a bit small. But no problem for 2 people. The bath was small but very clean and the views were amazing. Breakfast was great and the cookies were so good. We will be back!

Cute place in the country with GREAT mountain views. The common room has 2 1/2 walls of glass that look out over the countryside and towards the mountains, it is just lovely. We stayed in the Tower room which has a turret that is used as a bed nook, very cute. It is located on the front of the house... More

Used to stay in a motel for our NH vacation...but will never do that again after this experience. Joy is a wonderful hostess...Applebrook is charming and clean. Spacious common room and dining area. DELICIOUS breakfast with homemade muffins, egg items, pancakes and fresh fruit! Great location for hiking and Santa's Village (we did both). Stayed with our 3 and 6... More

We happened upon information on this B/B in the Stash Tea Guide- looking for places to stay with great hiking around it....BINGO! What incredible luck! What wonderful, fun, and enjoyable hosts...extra touches all around, including great baked goods (the cookies and apple muffins we took along for the rest of the trip were a treat after many a wet and... Traveling with our four young kids can pose a challenge for lodging. I chose the Applebrook because we could get the entire top floor ("Granny's Attic" or somesuch name) for a reasonable rate. It was our first experience in a B&B, and WOW! The house is this huge, interesting, sprawling place; yes, the paint's chipping here and there, but it's... More

The purpose of our trip to the White Mountains was to take the kids to Santa's Village. There were 7 of us between two rooms w/ three children and we couldn't have felt more comfortable and right at home. Tom and Joy are great.....Joy's afternoon cookies are wonderful and breakfast is always served with local maple syrup....yummy. The common areas... More
