Beautiful old building retaining its integrity, while trying to meet modern expectations. The location was quiet and suited perfectly our touring requirements. Our room was small but charming with comfortable bed and pretty good shower. Service was excellent - could not have been more polite and helpful. We had two great evening meals and enjoyed the great atmosphere in the... More

We have stayed at many B&Bs and small inns in ME, NH, and VT, and this Inn is the only place that earned a negative review. The place lacks the attention to detail that makes for an excellent experience. The walls are quite thin, we heard a lot of noise from guests in the hall and adjacent rooms. The bathroom... More

After a warm welcome by the friendly staff, we sat at the bar for some wonderful drink. Very cozy New England atmosphere. Our room was upstairs. Be careful on those stairs, as they have a shallow depth and steep pitch. The room was clean, very clean. it offered a sound nights sleep after a long drive. We had dinner there.... More

We stayed here at the end of May for my husband's cousin's wedding in nearby Keene. It was our first visit to New Hampshire and it was perfectly New England...charming, quiet and in a beautiful setting. I believe his family had the entire inn booked for the weekend...which worked out really well for bringing along children. However, while children are... More

We spent a very enjoyable evening at his beautiful inn. The Aunt's Room was charming and comfortable. Friends joined us for dinner in the restaurant. Excellent food and friendly service. Breakfast the next morning was freshly made to order, with a choice of blueberry pancakes or eggs and bacon that day.

This inn has crossed the line between charmingly quaint and just plain old and inconvenient. We stayed in a room on the 3rd floor-no elevator. The room was large and bright with a queen bed that has seen better days, a bureau, one chair (for 2 people!) and a couple of night stands. The private bath had a cast iron... More

We got the last room at this Inn because everything in the area was booked, between college graduations and the NE 10 College Baseball Regionals. We had read that it was the smallest room at the Inn and that it had no TV, and the bathroom (while private) was across the hall. We booked it anyway and I am so... More

We decided last minute to go on a little get away. I have driven by the inn many times on my way to climb Mt. Monadnock and was reminded of it by a friend. I called the inn and spoke with Donna who was very pleasant. Booking was the room was very easy and we decided on their "stay and... More

I was one of three comics performing at a nearby show. The promoter arranged for us to stay at the Monadnock Inn. The inn itself is like a large B & B. The house is older but well maintained. There is a full bar downstairs along with a sit down restaurant. The food was excellent and the room was clean... More

Lovely place to stay. It's an old inn, but is very charming and cozy. We were there for 1 night and enjoyed our stay very much. The staff is amazing - very nice and helpful. The breakfast was great too. Just a very cute New England country inn.
