Spent Valentine's weekend there. I waited too long to make dining reservations for Valentine's night and couldn't get in anywhere! John/Mary graciously called around and got us fantastic reservations at a lovely restaurant and rescued me! The rooms are immaculate and nicely appointed and breakfast included. Thank you John/Mary/Christine for making the weekend a fantastic getaway. We will definitely be... More

We spent President's Day weekend at the Inn. We picked the Glen Ellis Falls room since we wanted a fireplace. It was quite delightful. The staff and owners are quite helpful and friendly. Because it was such a busy weekend, getting dinner reservations was a challenge. Mary was great, ahead of time, at making suggestions and finding somewhere that had... More

Great Inn, beautiful, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast daily with your stay. We frequent the Inn at Ellis River because it feels like home away from home, especially with this past stay! The new owners, Mary and John, made our NFL playoff night great with pizza, chicken wings and snacks! Anyone at the Inn who wished was welcome to join and... More

We stayed here for the first time in January to celebrate our 27th anniversary. Previously we have stayed a few times in a hotel in the center of North Conway and had been happy with our stays. This time we decided to try somewhere else a little less centralized to the "downtown" area. After searching different options we decided to... More

Pros: gorgeous location by the river, clean, nice bath amenities, quiet, comfy bed, convenient to the restaurants in Jackson and Pinkham's Notch Cons: the breakfast was average - definitely not bad, but not the best I've ever had an an inn, the furnishings downstairs could use a bit of updating..they are kind of 1980's/1990's

The Inn is in an amazing location, right next to the river and easy walk into Jackson which has enough bars and restaurants for a small stay. It is also a very quaint little place. We stayed here for Fall, and it was a great location to do a bit of Fall highway exploring. I imagine it would also be... More

We stayed at this absolutely wonderful Inn in early January 2015 after reviewing a number of other properties. The location is excellent; the guest rooms are very comfortable- many with wood burning fireplaces; the Inn itself is in pristine condition with a number of common areas - most of which have their own fireplace. The Pub is exceptional with an... More

My husband and I stayed here December 13-15. We literally booked the last available room, and although it was smaller without a fireplace or jacuzzi, it was bright with beautiful patchwork quilts and antique furnishings--just adorable and cozy. The room was extremely clean and neat. We were there on the very busy weekend of the inn to inn cookie tour,... More

My wife and I were part of a destination wedding held at the Inn in August 2014, staying two days . We were in the Crystal Cascade Room with a sitting room and balcony, which was perfect to host other wedding party members. The room was very well appointed. Note that the stairs to the second floor are fairly steep... More

My husband and I stayed here from Fri Dec 5-Sun Dec 7 for a quiet weekend away and to do the Jingle Bell Chocolate Tour. We stayed in the Paradise Falls room. It had a fireplaced bedroom with king sized bed, a sitting room, door to the outside deck and a bathroom with a two person Jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was... More
