This was a wonderful out of the way find (but not too far out of the way - short distance to Jackson and restaurants) surrounded by fields and mountains - we were told the fall colours were the best they'd been for 10 years ~ which is why we were there. Our hostess (Anne) was a delight - she had... more

We spent a wonderful two days at this great B&B. Our room was spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. The view from the bedroom window was truly fantastic, and we enjoyed looking out at the mountains in the morning. We spent the weekend xc-skiing on the local trails, some of which go right through this property. This is a great place... more

Had a super 2 nights stay at Windy Hill and loved it! Totally relaxing, great place to chill out, wonderful views over the mountains and awesome fall colours. Great contrast from the city and resort hotels and a lovely quiet farmhouse, very peaceful. Wild turkey in the fields outside and a great experience. Great home cooked breakfasts from Anne! Would... more

If you are looking for a reasonably priced B&B in the White Mountains and want to avoid the maddening crowds and traffic noise of North Conway, we recommend this B&B on a working beef cattle farm at the end of a paved mountain road. The rooms are clean and cheerfully bright. Ann is an excellent cook who allows guests to... more

I spent five perfect days as a Windy Hill guest and loved every aspect and every minute. It compares very favorably with the best B&B facilities my wife and I have ever enjoyed, and we have been to some great ones. There were no other guests during this visit, affording an opportunity to soak up the most compelling and penetrating... more

My wife and I just spent one week at Windy Hill Bed and Breakfast and as usual (we have been going there every year for over 10 years) our stay was just what we expected - relaxing, good views, good breakfast, good coffee and a friendly, informal atmosphere. To sit and watch the wild turkeys in the fields, the deer,... more

This was my second year visiting this B&B in June, and I love it. The Queen Room has such a great view of a couple of mountain ranges to the south, beyond meadows (full of cows and turkeys), forests, and lovely barns (the property is a working farm); the screened porch and the breakfast table also have this wonderful view... more

My mum and I booked to stay here in the Autumn of last year. We had booked this holiday as we are keen amateur photographers and wanted to see New England in the fall. Unfortunately for us it was a poor one, very wet and poor colours, but never mind, that's how it goes. The b&b is in a lovely... more

At the last second, I decided to take a ski vacation with my son during the Feb. school vacation in 2001. Looking for a low-key home-style B&B, I stumbled across Windy Hill on the web. Fortunately for me, someone had cancelled their plans and a room was available, just when we wanted it! Anne is an accommodating host in the... more
