Didn't stay here so can't comment on the accomodation, but had dinner here one evening when they had live music and really liked it. I would describe the food as excellent quality pub food. That said, it didn't have any pretentions to anything else so no problem there. The staff were really helpfiul and attentive and this is clearly the... more

My boyfriend and I went to the Wildcat Inn & Tavern for the first time and absolutely loved the atmosphere. Everyone that worked there was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. The accommodations were very comfortable as well. The Tavern was a great place to hang out to watch the ball game and have a few drinks along... more

Starting with the good stuff. Great location, lovely little town. The Inn has a nice small garden to sit in and a very lively tavern (lots of locals) with open mic event on Tuesdays. The Tavern staff were very friendly and efficient and the place has a good selection of food and beers. We had a top floor suite which... more

I have never written a Trip Advisor review before, but feel compelled to comment on this fine old New England inn, especially in light of one recent review, which struck me as lacking specifics and abundant in not -so-glowing generalities. The horrific weather had finally cleared and we were looking forward to a short trip to the mountains during our... more

All I can say is if you make reservations at the Wildcat be prepared for a disaster. The place is creepy. The owner is unprofessional and tries to scam the guests. I would never stay at this Inn. more

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Wildcat. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys staying at a friendly, lively establishment with a great restaurant and a tavern that features live music and multiple large screen TVs for watching the game. The service was delightful, the room was very clean and well maintained and the food... more

We stayed at the Inn for a ski weekend in January 2008. As other posters have noted, this is an old house so every floor squeeks and every door creaks. That wouldn't have been so bad, but the rooms are located either right on top of, or up the stairs from, the Tavern. From the time the lifts close to... more

As the newest owner of the Wildcat (2 years now) I just found out that I can respond to reviews....cool....I hope that potential guests reading this review will reasonably understand that while this guest had a horrible experience (for which I am very sorry)this is not our intent....yes, like many old New England Inn's we have cranky steam radiators, thin...

This is probably my hardest review to write, as we were checked in, we were told that the radiators made noise. O.K., we were used to that considering that we both grew up in old homes. THAT was not the problem. We decided to stay over Christmas week and thought it should be quiet (guest wise). Well,,,,,,,,,,,,, NO. Every morning... more

My husband and I had high hopes for this Inn after looking at their website and reading all the reviews on Tripadvisor … however, the experience proved to be a huge disappointment. We enjoyed our ski trip at Wildcat Mountain and are planning to return to Jackson, NH next year but will certainly look for a new accommodation. The positives:... more

yes, yes, yes, our steam radiators clang and bang...if you want quiet heaters we are the wrong place.......regarding this guests problems with dinner reservations......it was New Years and all of our guests and every guest in Jackson is informed about the need for reservations...we could not be helpful with dinner reservations at our dining room or any others in town...

My Fiancé and I stayed at the Wildcat Inn the weekend of Nov 9th. We drove down from Montréal on the Friday night and arrived around 10pm. On their website they say that check in is until 7pm but they had everything prepared for us, since we informed them that we would be arriving around 10pm. The staff there were... more
