This was our first time staying at a B&B and we picked the perfect place for our first experience. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Bill who made us feel like we were regulars at the Inn. We stayed in Rabbits Hole and it was perfect! We had a big picture window in the sitting area... More

My husband and I had never stayed at a bed & breakfast inn before and weren't quite sure what it would be like. Our weekend stay at the Inn on Golden Pond exceeded our expectations. Our hosts Bill and Bonnie were gracious and attentive, our room was immaculate and comfortable, and the living area near the fireplace was utterly cozy!... More

When I first spoke to Bonnie over the phone as I was making reservations, I knew we were going to have a great weekend at the Inn on Golden Pond. She was very accommodating of our late arrival time (due to many kids activities at home) and very friendly. We stayed in the Porcupine Hollow suite. I was surprised at... More

In November I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Domaine D'Amour bed & breakfast in Vars, Canada, which on Trip Advisor I called one of my favorite places to stay in 45 years of travel. And THIS is my favorite. In November, I had the supreme pleasure of staying at the Inn on Golden Pond for my third... More

I was at the Inn on Golden Pond for New Year's this year and had a wonderful time as usual. After we came back from dinner, our British guests brought out a game called "What's in the Bag". It was so much fun. We had to give hints as to what was on the card in so many minutes, having... More

As a director for a community theater production of "On Golden Pond," I took a short visit to Maine and New Hampshire to view the area. Bill and Bonnie at The Inn On Golden Pond were delightful hosts and provided good information about the area and personal help on learning more than I would have without them. My room was... More

I took my Mother & a friend to see the leaves changing the first week in October. Perfect location! Mountains to the North & lakes to the South. Perfect distance for us to travel each day. Enjoyed Bill & Bonnie tremendously! Thanks for the travel direction each day! Loved the ability to "stroll" the property early in the morning or... More

This was far the best of all of the inns we stayed at on our recent trip to see New England in the fall. It is a home from home - warm, comfortable and welcoming, and right down the road from the beautiful Squam Lake. Spacious accommodation and a lovely lounge to relax in. When we returned the the inn... More

Wonderful stay. We were very comfortable in our suite and the breakfasts were good. The countryside was beautiful, and our hosts were very helpful in directing us to local attractions. We especially enjoyed the breakfast chats. And we saw two foxes out the window during breakfast!

After 30 years of operating this bed and breakfast, Bill and Bonnie are very seasoned host. Their inn is a beautiful old home with excellent, spacious accomodations and ammenities. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to visit again.
