Really enjoyed our overnight stay in the Winnipesaukee Room at Squam Lake Inn last week. The room was cozy but didn't feel too small. We appreciated the incredibly comfortable king size bed and the gluten free cookies available for guests. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious, and breakfast the next morning was even better: french toast with an amazing orange... More

The hotel is nice but what drives my 5 star rating is the disarmingly nice service. Everybody was nice in an effortless way, they did not even se to try: the just are this way and because of that THANK YOU! We stayed in the Holderness room which has the benefit of a shared front porch but whose proximity with... More

We spent 3 nights at Squam Lake Inn at the end of June and it was wonderful! In-laws joined us for the 2nd & 3rd nights and they agreed it was terrific. We had the Squam room on the 2nd floor which was comfortably large with a super comfortable bed, 2 soft arm chairs, a ceiling fan with lightand a... More

We decided to visit Squam Lake, New Hampshire. We selected Squam Lake Inn as our accommodation in the area and were delighted with our two night stay. It has great WIFI, comfortable beds, smallish but stylish rooms, and spotlessly clean. Every staff member we came across was very friendly and always willing to assist. The Inn is a wonderful old... This little piece of heaven is a great place to stay while driving New England. Every element from the way we where greeted upon arrival (hot tea, warm cookies) to the decor, the cleanliness and the kindness of the staff was beyond exceptional. The restaurant is amazing and the food is flavorful. The only small drawbacks were the size of... More

WE recently spent 3 nights at Squam Lake Inn and wished we could have stayed longer. Molly and the team were very welcoming, nothing was too much, all done with calm efficiency, friendliness and a laugh. On arrival in late afternoon there was cookies and hot apple cider available (OK, this is NOT done every day..) and was just what... More

I've stayed at this Inn twice and love the gardens, the food, and the incredible lake. The rooms are a little on the small side and the first time I only had a shower - I prefer a bath, but this is a great small inn to stay in on your own or with a romantic partner. I would like... More

My husband and I recently stayed in Squam Lake Inn for 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and were always on hand to answer any questions we had (we would have liked more guidance on what hikes to do however e.g. 20min hike to top of Rattlesnake Mtn gives AMAZING view at top for virtually no work! They shared... More

The Squam Lake Inn is conveniently located next to town. The breakfast was wonderful and served each day with a smile. The room was comfortable and quiet. The staff is very helpful with any questions about the surrounding area and things to do. I would stay there again.
