I have stayed at the YTM for quite a few years now and the rooms are always clean, Barbara does a fantastic job keeping them that way. The owners, Sharrie and Bill (Mom & Pops) are always accommodating and helpful. They also have a nice breakfast restaurant on site, food is always delicious. We stay there during Laconia Bike Week... It is a very small motel. Has a pool and a very small picnic area. We were staying there to go to a show at the Winnie Theater. The owners are very, very nice and were extremely accommodating and helpful. The price is very reasonable. The rooms are old but comfortable. I went with my extended family and we rented... More

I had never been to New Hampshire before and wanted to take my girlfriend on a fun and romantic weekend. June and July and August are a difficult time to find a place to stay in the lake region of New Hampshire, I quickly found out (especially with three dogs). Luckily for me a friend told me about the Yankee... More

Me and my boyfriend needed a last min motel room. We couldn't stay at our camp site it was cold. We got there and the room smelled musty. I checked the bathroom it was dirty. I got owner and she cleaned it. The cleaning women she hired did a poor job. I went out for an hr and sprayed room... More

As British tourists visiting the area, We have always shown a preference for privately-owned 'Mom and Pop' motels in preference to the larger groups or franchises. This one was an absolute delight. It ticks all the boxes and the owners-in-residence, Bill and Sharrie, provide a very personal service. The bespoke, breakfasts were fantastic and we were made to feel more... More

My husband and I stayed at the Yankee Trail for 2 nights while attending a wedding in Holderness. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The shower was great. The owners are a wonderful couple who make you feel like you're staying in their home. I got a call around 4:00M while we were on route, asking me if... More

My best friend and I spent the weekend here feeling like we were visiting family! Our room was spacious and clean and breakfast at the on-site restaurant was out of this world. Our favorite part was when they asked if we were still hungry because they could make us some more toast or another pancake. You could tell they just... More

If you're looking for a five star hotel with all of the amenities this is not the place. If your looking for a clean, comfortable place to just crash after a fun day this is a great place. It is a typical dated New England Motel so don't expect anything else! The owners are very nice and the location is perfect.... More

Hi Craig, Thanks so much for the kind words. Sorry about the wifi, did you try out on the table in front of thee restaurant? The service is so poor but most people can hook up there. Wish you would have said something...heck, you could have gone up to our house! All our best to you both. Sharrie More
