Six in our party stayed at The Manor to celebrate an adult birthday; the staff arranged a cooking class for us over two days and everything was spectacular, a birthday to remember! The accommodations were lovely, spacious, comfortable, and with views of Squam Lake. The best "amenity" at The Manor on Golden Pond is the fantastic service.

This last trip to the Manor on Golden Pond was our third time here. We first went in October of 2005 as part of our honeymoon in New Hampshire. We were delighted with the hotel at that time, from the colorful fall foliage greeting us, pumpkins on the doorsteps, the warm fireplace and free cider which greeted us upon arrival.... More

We only stayed here for 1 night as part of our 14 night trip through the New England States. We stayed in the Buckingham, which was HUGE, with comfy wing backed chairs around the fireplace (also huge), and a really nice bathroom, and a private balcony overlooking the lake and wonderful gardens. There is an added bonus of a nice... More

My husband and I enjoyed a weekend at the Manor and there was much to enjoy in the experience. It is an "old-world" somewhat old-fashioned kind of "comfortable elegance" and some of it is fading. The manor is 100 years old, and the original house was lovely in its day and still has many fine characteristics, but the newer additions... More

My husband and I, along with another couple, visited the Manor on Golden Pond for a winter weekend get-away and from the minute we entered the welcoming living room we were treated like valued guests. We were thoroughly pleased with all aspects of the inn: our room was lovely, comfortable and included everything we could have wanted for comfort and... More

We went for a winter getaway for a long weekend in January. The manor was cozy and comfortable; we spent time in the living areas around the fireplace reading, doing puzzles and chatting with other guests. The highlight was the wood burning fireplace and hot tub in our room. The furnishings and decor in the room were a bit dated;... More

We've stayed at the manor 6-8 times over the past several years. Each time trying a different room with NO disappointments. Brought other friends/reatives and they too speak highly. The quality is tops, the support staff is superb, and the food is outstanding. I/we can't recommend it high enough especially in January/February when you're looking to just get away, relax... More

A relaxing get away. Very quiet. The grounds are lovely to walk about. Our room was large and tastefully decorated. Beds very comfortable. The front desk ladies were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. Best we've ever had. Nice classy restaurant with great service. Spa is beautiful. We had great massages.
