I stayed at this B&B in August for a reunion with three college friends, and it was the perfect place to catch up on each other's lives. All we did was sit around and talk...in the dining room overlooking the river, on the expansive deck looking over the river, on the swing overlooking the river...you get my point! Innkeepers Kate... Enjoyed our stay. Kate made us feel like old friends from the first moment. We stayed in the River Room and found the bed to be one of the most comfortable we have ever slept inn. The house is unique and located within a few minutes walk of the shops and restaurants. Bathroom was small and quirky, but we managed... More

If you want a peaceful relaxing vacation come here. This B&B is located in a very pretty small town and is situated with wonderful views of the river. Kate and Phil made us so welcome and it felt homely straight away. The bedrooms are very comfortable, but the front is a little noisy, but not overly enough to be disturbing.... More

My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights on a lovely June weekend for a friend's wedding. Kate was a fabulous host who greeted us as we arrived and had a wealth of knowledge about the area and things we could do to maximize our time there. The house was impeccably decorated- very quaint and full of antiques. The breakfast... More

Thank you for the kind words & thank you especially for staying with us Cheryl. Just one point of clarification - you can buy my "fresh squeezed orange juice" at most grocery stores. I am very brand loyal to Tropicana Lots of Pulp. Not sure it will taste the same without the river view but it would be one way... More

We had a one night stay at Henniker House in May 2014 to attend a local wedding. We found Kate and Phil to be a very delightful and friendly couple. Our conversation with them at breakfast was most enjoyable and truly enhanced our stay. Needless to say our breakfast of "green eggs & ham" was outstanding and delicious and Kate... More

My niece attended NEC for the past 4 years and every time (more than 6) I have gone to visit her I have stayed at the Henniker House. The location is central and perfect for whatever you'd like to do in the area. My hosts, Kate and Phil have always been gracious and accommodating. I have always been asked if... More

Comfortable rooms are beautifully decorated with antiques yet boast modern amenities as well. Delicious breakfasts served in the solarium start each day off well. The hosts are helpful and full of information about the area to make one's stay more enjoyable. The location is just gorgeous any time of the year.

It was like visiting an auntie we hadn't met before! Kate (owner) is attentive and accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful! The bed was comfortable and the shower was very big; there was a lovely view of the river from the balcony of the bedroom. We stayed 3 nights and were greeted with a different delicious breakfast every morning, tailored to suit... More
