Having read all the reviews I thought this was going to be the jewel in the crown of our trip. We upgraded to one of the carriage suites and it was a very nice spacious room. The main disappointment was in the dinner which was "okay" nothing special but was extremely expensive (and we have stayed in 5* hotels around... More

Everything about this Inn is amazing. Mason who is the Inn keeper is attentive and funny and makes you so welcome. Mary who does breakfast that is fit for kings! The whole place is beautiful. Rooms are beautiful. You can watch the birds at breakfast. They have a great restaurant and a fab wine list. Henniker is beautiful and has... More

This Bed and Breakfast is a great experience. If you are looking for a plush, new room to sleep in it's not for you. If, however, you want to feel the history of the area, you will love your stay here. The rooms have an authentic feel with furniture that fits the age of the inn. Each room has a... More

There are several very good things about the Colby Hill Inn. The charm, Tony, and the breakfast. This is not your typical B&B. The owners are onsite, but they did not engage with guests over the two days/ nights we were there. If it had not been for Tony, an employee we witnessed serving as the night clerk, morning cook,... Stayed for 5 nights in early August, 2013. The breakfasts and dinners are fantastic, the rooms are exquisitely clean, the staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area and attractions and how to get to them. No peccadilloes to complain about.

My husband and I were heading north from Connecticut for a short 4 day get-away. I remembered that a former co-worker of mine and his wife bought an inn 13 years ago. I Googled it, found the place, and booked a room for two nights. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the Colby Hill Inn was this beautiful, charming,... More

While touring New England and staying at several other inns and b&b's, we stayed at the Inn and were a little disappointed. Of all the place we stayed it was the least favorite, however it certainly had its perks. The dining at Colby Hill was amazing. Service was great, food was even better, and the breakfast and dinner options were... More

We stayed at the Inn during Presidents week in February. We chose the Inn based on reviews but also because it was very close to Pat's Peak ski resort. The innkeeper has a tradition of making this particular week a "family week", which we didn't know in advance, but worked out fine because we had our teenage daughter with us.... More

We just got back from a 'ski and stay' weekend at the Colby Hill Inn in Henniker and we thought it was terrific! We went with another couple and skiied at Pat's Peak and Colby Hill in is very conveniently located to the mountain. The rooms were clean and the service was great. Everyone was helpful and pleasant, from the... More
