The Colby Inn was nice. Very clean and our breakfast of blueberry pancakes was tasty. A very attentive college student waited on us and made sure we got out quick to catch a plane. The room was well appointed and charming. I know there are certain things about old homes you cannot help. However, the floor in our room was... more

Rooms are just too small, the town is full of college kids (it's a college town. GRRR) and it's just not as quaint as we had hoped for. I suggest doing your research better. I will say the food was great though. more

Just got back from an amazing weekend getaway with my family. The inn is a gem. The location could not have been better. Located 3-4 minutes away from Pats Peak, made for great accessibility to the ski slopes. The inn could not be more charming. When we arrived, we were greeted by the innkeeper who couldn't do enough for us.... more

Our family planned a trip to get away for a weekend and relax and this Inn was the perfect experience. The staff were very welcoming, friendly , polite and accommodating. The food was phenomenal, better than what you get at a 5 star hotel or restaurant. The rooms were cozy, romantic and quiet and more importantly very clean and spacious.... more

We were in Vermont and decided to see and sample New Hampshire. WIthout reading the reviews here, we stayed at Colby Hill Inn. On the phone, I was already having second thoughts, as I sensed that the person at the other end of the line was gung-ho to get my credit card number and charge my card as it was... more

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in mid-October to view the fall foliage. I had researched a few places to stay online before our trip, but never made any reservations. We were traveling midweek, so I knew they had some rooms availalbe and we just showed up as a walk-in and we were treated so nicely. We... more

The food was excellent , but room 25 where we stayed was POSTAGE STAMP size and the shower in that room is so small one can barely turn around in it. At $159 per night this room was overpriced. more

The Colby Inn is absolutely lovely, we stayed one night there and found the staff really nice, the room was very pleasant with a very comfortable bed, and we had a very nice meal in their restaraunt that same night. Breakfast the next morning was also great, and the staff fixed us a very nice packed lunch for our trip... more

We only stayed for one night and we arrived very late, so we missed check in. Fortunately, there were very easy instructions on how to get to our room, along with a welcoming letter attached to the front door upon arrival. Our room was quaint and comfortable. We stayed in a smaller room due to the fact we would only... more

The rooms were comfortable, though the bathroom was fairly tiny. The inn was well maintained, but preserved the historic look and feel of the rooms and common areas. The garden was lovely, with quite a gathering of birds and other wildlife. The restaurant was excellent, including a nice selection of wines. It would be helpful if the hotel would develop... more
