We enjoyed a comfortable 2 days here while we shopped in Peterboro and Keene. We were fed a filling and tasty breakfast. Hot tea and coffee was always available. The house is very old with creaky floors, but the rooms are comfortable with your own heat control. We were glad to have our room toasty, since the rest of the... More

Maria is the most gracious hostess and a wonderful cook! She will send you off each day with a delicious, hearty breakfast. The Inn is spacious and comfortable. It really is like being at home - only better.

A delightful B&B in Monadnock region of New Hampshire. Built in 1842 as the caretaker's home for a nearby mansion, it has been lovingly maintained, updated, and furnished with antiques. Each of the 5 rooms has a private, modern bathroom. Linens and towels are VERY nice and changed frequently. Breakfasts are different daily, each of the four we had were... More

We booked our reservations at the Inn based on location; our son was getting married in Harrisville, and it was less than a mile away from the village. What a pleasant surprise! Maria, our innkeeper, has the perfect balance of involvement without "hovering", of service and interest without the artificiality so common in this lodging category. At one time over... More

My husband and I just arrived home from a wonderful long weekend at the Harrisville Inn. Maria, the innkeeper, was charming and very hospitable. The Inn is in a perfect location between Peterbourgh and Keene, lots of sightseeing and country shops in any direction we chose to drive. The foliage was spectacular. Maria sent us off each day after a... More

My wife and I spent the weekend at the Harrisville Inn for a family reunion that was being held in Nelson. We had wonderful stay at the Inn. The Inn has just recently changed hands but if our stay was any indication the new Inn Keeper Maria will do very will. She made us a delicious breakfast and joined us... More

Should you be going to Harrisville, NH for a wedding or a class @ the local mill/design studio, then the Harrisville Inn B&B is the place to stay. In fact, it's the only place to stay unless you want to drive 8 or more miles away. There are 5 rooms, each quaintly furnished. The hosts are delightful, helpful and knowledgeable... More

What a wonderful stay! Husband and I went to Harrisville (near Dublin- headquarters of Yankee magazine) for a wedding this weekend and we stayed at the Inn. From start to finish, staying at the Inn was an absolute delight. We arrived mid-afternoon to find a sunny, spacious comfortable room (Room 2) and BEAUTIFUL garden outside. The innkeepers were friendly without... More
