A nice place but don't trust the information you get over the phone. As part of a large party, I reserved a second floor, ocean view room several months in advance only to be called a month ahead of our arrival to be told we were being moved to the third floor. That wasn't acceptable due to orthopedic issues...led to... More

Not sure how this happened, but I'm very careful when taking phone reservations to repeat the kind of room, price, and dates it is reserved so that we all understand the reservation. Unfortunately mistakes happen and I have been forced to call customers ahead of time to see if they can change to a different room, or even change which... More

My husband and daughter were running in the Smuttynose Rockfest 1/2 Marathon and we needed a place to stay overnight so we drove up and down Ocean Blvd checking out the hotels/motels. This little gem is tucked away next to Cinnamon Rainbows surf shop. Anne, the owner (who has the sweetest irish accent ever), welcomed us warmly and even though... More

The windjammer is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday with Hampton Beach on your doorstep. The motel had a homely feeling with the rooms each decorated uniquely but still equipped with everything you needed. Our hosts couldn't have been more friendly and helpful giving us complimentry scones on our arrival. The perfect holiday!

I read Tripadvisor reviews and was quite comfortable in reserving this B&B. Reservation: I talked to Anne and she was lovely at the phone. She promised for me and my 2 daughters a room with seaview, balcony and kitchen. She said I'd really love it. On arrival: Rick was extremely kind, however asked for prepayment before I went up to... This review is states that I demanded payment before the customer was able to view the room, which is not the case. I do normally accept payment during the guest registration. However any guest who would like to see the room before payment is welcome to do so. If a guest thought the room wasn't up to their expectations they... More

Travelling with two small boys (3 and 4 years old), we found Hampton Beach terribly run-down, well past its haydays. Finding the Windjammer, a 200+ year old building about a mile or two north of the city center proved to be a wonderfulgift. Anne and Richard are the perfect hosts. They are keeping their "Grand Old Lady" in impeccable shape... More

The Windjammer is the best place to stay here in Hampton, hands down. Super clean. Super dedicated staff. Adorable place with beautiful rooms in view. A great place for surfers, families and everybody in between. My best friend and I are in college and wanted to start an annual surf trip where we could meet up and Surf "The Wall"... More

Words alone can not express the experience that awaits you at the Windjammer. It has been our family's little piece of heaven for many years now. We have a large family and have been making the Windjammer our summer vacation destination as often as possible over the last 25 or so years. Although our children are grown now, they were... More

We wanted to spend one night in Hampton Beach but couldn't reserve ahead due to 2 night minimums everywhere. So, we set out "winging it" We drove from the Boardwalk area along the coast and called a few places. No vacancy. We saw Windjammer and immediately turned around. At first I was worried that the small first floor room (bottom... More
