I've been going to Hampton Beach for over 40 years and have stayed at a few hotels. For the first 20 or so years we stayed at a place on A street name Hollingsworth but that's now under new mgt whom we don't like. We found the Sands about 10 years ago (after a few disappointing places) and like it... More

My wife and I came to the Sands for a romantic getaway this past summer. We arrived a little before check in time and the front desk staff said that we were allowed to check in early! It was very convenient for us because of the expensive parking at Hampton beach. Two young ladies greeted us at the front desk... More

I stayed here while visiting family for the Christmas 2014 Holiday. Although, I was not at the resort that much, I would book this resort again. The suites have a small kitchen, full size refrigerator, nice sized bedroom with closet. The place was clean and very quiet.

This is a typical beach hotel but it has the advantage of a super friendly staff. We had our flight home canceled and did not have a computer with us so we were able to use the office computer to make all the arrangements and ended up staying an extra day which was really nice since we took the whole... I travel frequently, and have stayed at a lot of different hotels; I do not need fancy, but I do need clean. This place was GROSS! The bathroom was filthy, the bedroom rug had food crumbs on it, and when we moved the pull-out couch to make room for a blow-up bed, (we didn’t dare let our guests sleep on... More

This hotel is good enough for basic human survival. It was built a while ago and nothing seems to have ever been updated. If I was paying $200 a night, I would be cross, but since it was barely more than some crappy Red Roof Inn in Kansas, I cannot complain. It has a nice little kitchenette and balcony. Combine... My Fiance' and I just spent two nights at The Sands Resort...should be called a flea bag resort!!! Besides the fact that it was down right filthy..I am not entirely sure why they call themselves a RESORT at all. There is no pool, no food, the hot tub....had a two inch thick layer of sand in the bottom and green... More
