The area doesn't have any 4 or 5 star properties. Stayed here and it was ok. I'll look at other options this sept.

We were at the Ashworth last night (Saturday 07, July). Happily, the regular DJ was there. The room and the dancefloor were packed from beginning to end. We're on vacation and wanted to go Friday as well but made the mistake of going Friday of the previous week. Very loud band taking up much of the dancefloor playing only old... More

My wife and I have been customers in the restauraunt and lounge for over 7 years. We are noticing a steady decline in both areas. They always had a great DJ named Dan with an unbelievable reportoire. We arrived there tuesday before the Forth of July expecting to really celebrate and we're met with a single guitarest, whom would have... More

Stayed at the Ashworth a couple years ago during the winter and we had a nice time. The food was good, the room was clean and the staff friendly. Although it is nice being directly across from the beach, this time around the place was nothing but chaos. Everything took forever...valeting our car, checking in, getting our dinner. We waited... We searched long and hard to find a place that wouldn't make us want to lysol everything in sight and ended up at the Ashworth. Hated having to pay for parking and the required valet service was annoying. The room was ok but certainly not worth $400/night. Be ready to hear everything going on in the room next door, thank... The biggest selling point for the Ashworth is its location. You walk out the front door of the hotel and you are right on the beach. You are also less than a 5 minute walk to the main boardwalk and activities. Our room was a little small for our family of 5 because of the rollaway bed but we were... More

We were very disappointed by our stay here. My original review was too long to post, so I am going to email it to the general manager personally. Here is a brief summary: Parking costs a ridiculous $7 per night, and valet parking is mandatory. When we arrived, there were 2 valets standing there doing nothing. Neither one of them... More

We have been staying at the Ashworth for approx. 15 years, always in the summer. Our most recent stay was, overall, wonderful, with just a few glitches. Check-in was a breeze with ((not sure of the spelling), Siohban. She was handling so many people at once AND having to "share" with them that the elevator in the hotel was BROKEN!... More

Our 2 night getaway was just as expected based on previous reviews. We were greeted by very attentive young men, who parked our car, held doors open, and helped carry luggage up to our room in the north tower. We were told after checking in and that the elevator was broken and that we had to use stairs. It wasn't... More

I would have rated this hotel excellent, had it not been for the fact that their elevator was out of order. They did compensate for it by providing a room on the first floor, one flight up rather than the original two, with a fabulous unrestricted ocean view. We were told that their breakfast was better than their dinners, and... More
