We booked this hotel for our trip to story land due to the location. When we got there the woman was very friendly but unprofessional. The room she gave us was dirty and full of spider webs. There was also no cover over the thermostat. It was a very old outdated room that was not clean. We then requested another... More

I made this mistake of booking a room here without checking Tripadvisor first, it was a last minute thing so I just went ahead and took my chances. Huge mistake. The outdoor pool and hot tub in the hotel website pictures are "out of order" and empty. This appeared to simply be a complete lack of maintenance. You have to... More

Was pleasantly surprised by the $30 discount upon checkin because the outdoor pool is drained and beyond repair. The pleasantness ends here. Upon opening the door to room in the "Brookside" section, we were overwhelmed with the smell of dampness which never went away. We had a room with a private patio with 2 queen beds which overlooked our car.... More

The smell of the room was a bit overwhelming. Can't place it maybe it's just closed up a lot or the rugs which I walked on with bare feet once then only with shoes. The beds were ok little squeaky when you get on or off but not while sleeping. Bathroom was clean. It's a room to sleep in and... More

Went there for the weekend ,booked well over a month ahead of time. No card on file , showed up and only people there were so called house keepers which were either drunk or on drugs one or the other. Got there at 3pm to check in spent 45 minutes at the playground with the kids before anyone came to... More

we booked this due to its proximity to story land, upon arrival the lobby was locked and there was a walkie talkie hanging on the door with a sign that said push i am on property, no response to multiple attempts forcing us to drive around looking for someone, the staff we encountered were extremley unkempt and reminded me of... Let's start by a compliment. The front desk was very accommodating. We were driving up from Connecticut after hours and let them know we'd be arriving after 9:00 (when they closed the office). As it was we got there at 8:55 and the nice woman behind the counter had already taped an envelope with our key to the front door... More

Where do you begin? There are NO phones in any rooms. No one in office after 8:00 pm until 8:00 am. Mold through out room. Staff completely rude. Evidently a fuse was blown around 9:30 our second night. We had no TV, no refrigerator or microwave. Only bathroom light worked. Of course we had no way to get in touch... More

Well let me just say, my family of seven had....quite an adventure. The whole inn building is crooked and the pictures are cute the library is a piano and a television. But the thing is it is a sort of magical place. My mother an brother and I were looking for the game room in the basement? Hah! We walked... More

Lets start with the office closed and locked when we arrived to check in.Had to call someone on the walkie-talkie that was left hanging on the front door. Move on to not having our reservation handy and credit card on file. Go on to the room. No working telephone, reserved two queen bed room, both beds were full beds. Refrigerator... More
