We recently stayed three nights at Gunstock. We booked through kayak for three weeknights and our average price was $58; a great deal!!! The weekend rates were much higher. If we would've paid that rate, my review would not be as good. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was a basic room with a double bed and... More

While staying in the area for some nice lakes-region hunting, my grandfather and I were starving after a long day in the woods. We decided to check out Schuster's tavern after encountering the website (via my smartphone while in a tree stand) :) To be frank and honest, the hotel building is still somewhat of a work in progress. Apparently... More

I cannot say anything about the actual hotel or rooms as I have not stayed at the hotel. However the views from the property are absolutely spectacular. I just ate in Schuster's Tavern and will be going back. A friend & I shared one of the specials, flatbread pizza, shrimp & bacon. Very good. Their flatbread pizza is full size.... More

I have stayed at Gunstock Inn twice since July for a bachelorette & then wedding weekends. Both stays were enjoyable, with very accommodating staff. Rooms are very comfortable with great views. It is obvious the new owners are making improvements, as the sprinkler system appeared newly installed. This past weekend was the first time we were in the restaurant &... More

We stayed there for a wedding in the area a few weeks ago and it worked out okay. We had a nice view from our room, and the bed was comfortable, but the place definitely needs some attention. Our balcony had cobwebs above the door, the screen was ripped, rugs were stained, the outside needed to be painted and the parking... More

We are now locals to Gilford and wanted to check out our nearest places. We have ordered pizza as take out from the Tavern and found it to be good. The crust is par baked but still enjoyable. There is no delivery for any pizza in our area. After our satisfaction with the take out we decided to dine in.... More

Nice place to stay. It is an older building with antiques and the best restaurant in NH! Great staff and the owners were there insuring all went well. They are still working on some areas but the pol, restaurant and room was awesome.

I was staying for one night only in the area and was just by myself. I did not want to spend a lot of money and basically just check out the places before coming back with my family sometimes soon. I looked at several hotels by the lake and did not like the tiny parking spots in conjunction with big... More

We stayed for a week-end in July. Yes I do agree that the rooms are showing age but..... they are really clean and comfortable. We had booked a loft room and enjoyed the space and the big windows.... The view from the balcony was amazing and we could see fireworks at night (4th of july week-end). The service at this... More

We stayed at the Inn with a group of friends and the reviews were really mixed. Our room was old but clean. We really had no problems and thought the people were very nice. Both of the other couples were really upset. The first room was super tiny and had no window, they asked to be moved and were. They... More
