We've stayed here for one week each of the last three years. It is nice for families. It is not on Ossippee Lake--if you are looking for that, stay somewhere else. That said, Danforth Bay is nice. The sites close to the lake are small and lack privacy. We prefer the sites on Silver Lake Circle--especially M04, M05, M06, M07,... More

We had a blast at this resort. I honestly can't write enough about the numerous events, the friendly and dedicated staff, and the pools. We stayed for 3 nights in an RV near the entrance, to be close to the pools (thanks to the staff for recommending the location!). An easy walk to all the activities including archery, hiking, volleyball,... More

This campground is absolutely amazing! But first off a tip- only shower in the bathrooms by the pool, honestly the rest are infested with daddy longlegs and other suspicious creatures...anyway! I normally go to danforth bay yearly and stay around C1 and C2. There is an amazing stream running right by these campground sites and plenty of short cut paths... More

This was our first camping trip as a family, complete with an insectophobe. While you can't avoid the bugs while camping, you can distract your kids with tons of the fun activities and things to do at this camping resort! We spent most of our time at one of the three pools or at the beach on the lake. The... More

We had a wonderful time at this camping resort. We stayed for four nights and wished we had booked it for longer. Firstly staff here are great and friendly. The resort has three pools so it never really felt crowded. Also the two swimming beaches were nice. My two daughters especially loved jumping off the swimming dock. We also rented... More

We recently spent a weekend at Danforth Bay and loved it. This was our first time here and had heard very good reviews. I can see why.... We were on the paved pads just up from the beach. Awesome level area, with a table that had an umbrella attached. We walked the property our first day (or did our best,... More

We just left the campground knowing we will be back someday. The whole family enjoyed it all. By the way we use our pop up camper that has water and electric hook ups. Pros: VERY CLEAN restrooms and showers!!! I can't stress that enough! It was a big relief with 3 young kids 6, 4, 1. Great swing sets, pools... More

This might be a great place in summer but in winter its a waste of time unless you are just passing through. If you are older or disabled dont even try it. You most likely will get hurt. For amount you pay there is no service at all. Some workers in office are ok but some are surly to put... More

This was our first trip here and we found it better than most. Most sites seemed nice and were pretty big. Seasonals were mostly closed for the season but seemed real nice. A few of the roads are paved but not many. We were in a pull through site which at first we thought was tight but it worked out... More

Tie Die is the big family favortie. we have done a tie die every year that the kids have a shirt for every day of the week now. We... More
