I used booking.com to make reservations but they did not notify the motel so they were sold out when I arrived. Mike was extremely helpful and found me another place for the night with similar features and price but offered us to still use their pool, game room, and join them from breakfast. He even called to make sure we... More

I was a bit apprehensive about staying here but found it to be a very clean and pleasant place to unwind. They have a well maintained indoor pool, a gameroom and lodge which overlooks the pond outside with picnic table and outdoor furniture to enjoy the view. Just up the road from Franconia Notch (The Flume) and Cannon Mountain where... More

We have stayed with Mike and his family for two years now in early June. The property is very neatly kept and the rooms are delightful with the river behind. Mike is a very friendly host and goes out of his way to see that you are happy. We are headed back in a few weeks for a quick visit... More

We enjoyed our stay, the room was a good size, clean, new tv. The shower was ok, water got cold if someone else was running it somewhere. The pool was closed for some reason, and my son was a little disappointed. The owners were very nice, the breakfast was good, and we would definetly stay again.

I hate it when shower drain is clogged and you are standing in dirty water. Soap is of the cheap kind, won't apply to your skin, dry, and shatters into a thousand pieces. Very spacious. Staff will call you at random times, very annoying. Not too many people stay here so you have choice of your own room.

We planned an Easter ski weekend at Bretton Woods and needed a place close by to stay. The Stonybrook Motel and Lodge was a winner! The service was outstanding. Mike the owner was quick with help for whatever we needed. He was like a good neighbor helping out... We stayed in the lodge where we found a large and very... More

Reading all the positive reviews, I really wonder a.) if we were just unlucky when we visited 2 years ago b.) if the owners have changed again for better since c.) if those reviews are from actual customers.... Honestly, our stay dates back two years, but I was really heartbroken to see such a wonderful place (old-school motel in amazing... More

This is my second ski season at Stonybrook and have no intentions of going anywhere else. Warm and friendly owners always there to help. The motel is well kept and clean. Most of the skiers staying there seem to be respectful and quiet. In closing, for "North Country" go no where else. Bruce

We planned a trip to Bretton Woods and wanted a motel in the area. (about 10 mi. away) Reading other reviews first we understood this to be a basic hotel. It met our expectations to be clean, safe and quiet. This is an older motel, but owners appear to take pride in their property as it was in good condition.... More

The main reason I'm writing this review is that when we checked out, we accidentally left my wife's wedding ring on the counter. We returned a few hours later when we realized, and they happily returned it to us, after it had been found by the maid who turned it in to the office. Generally, this is a nice old... More
